Last Christmas?

I flew as fast as I could until I finally reached where I’d left them at, and I saw that they were still there in the magic bubble.

I then pressed a button to open up an exit door, and moved the spaceship so that the magic bubble would go into the door.

Then, I shut the door, and I hurried over to where they were!

When I reached them, Enki said, “Hey!, I was beginning to think that the mind-control wouldn’t go away in time!

If we had been out there for just 3 more hours, then it might have been lights out for us, I’m afraid…

But, hey!; all’s well that end’s well!, and thanks for coming back to rescue us!”

“I’m really sorry that I did what I did!” I wailed!, “I don’t even know for sure if it was really Krampus’s mind control or if I’m just a bad person!”

“I’m gonna go ahead and say that it was Krampus’s mind-control.” Malin said confidently, “But, either way, we’re rescued now!

How are things going back on Earth, anyway?”

“Well, all seemed doomed until a bunch of Christmas bunnies (5 trillion of them, to be exact!) all hopped out of Krampus’s crystal ball and defeated Krampus and are now ruling the world.

Krampus still promises that he’s somehow going to make this Christmas the last Christmas, but the bunnies are confident that there’s no way that he’ll actually be able to follow through on his threat.”

“Christmas bunnies are ruling the world now, eh?” Enki said in a surprised tone of voice, “It certainly sounds a lot better than Krampus ruling the world, now, doesn’t it.”

“And,” Malin added with a laugh, “l bet that the carrot industry is going to get quite a boom from this!”

We all laughed at Malin’s funny joke, and began flying the spaceship back to Earth so that we could celebrate what most certainly would NOT be the last Christmas in style.
