KMA: Kickass Man A Is Back

Chapter 55 Banquet

After the exhibition, Ken was gonna hold a banquet at Blue Coastal Hotel to service guests.

She specially reserved a table for her classmates.

However, they did not go to the hotel immediately. It was not yet time for dinner, on the other hand, the gift they had prepared were not brought here yet.

After Atlas left the exhibition, he hailed a taxi and was about to go to the Blue Coastal Hotel.

Georgie caught up with him and asked in a low voice, "Atlas, what gift have you prepared for Zoee? Don't be stingy. If you don't have money, I'll lend you some!"

After that, he tipped him a wink to tell him that Harvey who was approaching. "Don't let him look down on you."

Atlas nodded. "Don't worry. I understand."

"Let's meet at the Blue Coastal Hotel later!" Georgie watched Atlas get into the taxi and waved goodbye.

Sitting in the car, Atlas was thinking about what kind of gift suits Zoee.

The conditions of Zoee's Family were not bad but definitely not being good enough.

To raise Zoee, Ken Aniston and his wife had spared no effort. This art exhibition alone would cost them two months of salary.

Atlas felt that it was better to send money than anything else.

"Sir, please go to the nearest bank."

Blue Coastal Hotel was quite famous in Lanceham with a high price level.

To make the decision to entertain guest here might be difficult to Ken.

There were three tables of banquets in a big hall on the second floor. In such a large room, there was a special reception table. Ken and his wife stood behind it, greeting their friends and relatives.

"My younger brother, you have an excellent daughter!" Ken Aniston's big brother, Steven Aniston, put down an envelope on the reception table and said with a smile.

"Brother, isn't she also your niece?" Ken answered with a smile.

"Yes, as her eldest uncle, I felt quite proud as well." Steven laughed.

"Steven, please come in and sit at either of the tables over there. The table in the corner is reserved for Zoee's classmates." Ken pointed at the seats inside.

"Okay, go ahead. I'll enjoy myself." Steven walked in.

At the entrance of the hotel, just as Atlas got out of the taxi, a black Mercedes stopped beside him.

Quintin swaggered out of the car. He was stunned for a moment when he saw Atlas. Then he sneered disdainfully, "What a coincidence! If you had said earlier that you didn't have a car, I could have given you a ride!"

Atlas threw a nonchalant glance at him, "If you don't want to be beaten, you should disappear from my sight now."

There was an enraged look on Quintin's face. Thinking of Atlas' fighting skills, what he could do was merely snorting and striding into the hotel.

Atlas followed him.

On the second floor, in front of the reception table, seeing Quintin coming, Ken and his wife hurried out and greeted him politely, "Mr. Somberg is here. What a great honor to us!"

"Haha, Ken, you're welcome. I brought you a small gift. Please accept it!" Quintin waved his hand at his subordinate, and the young man next to him immediately sent a rectangular delicate wooden box to Ken. "Open it and have a look!" Quintin looked at Atlas, who was about to walk over, and smiled proudly.

Ken was stunned for a moment. He shouldn't have opened the gift from a guest in person, but since Quintin had asked him, Ken certainly couldn't refuse.

And when Ken saw Atlas, who had already walked to Quintin, how could he not understand Ken's intentions?

When the wooden box was opened, Ken showed them a landscape painting.

"This is Master Q's work!" Ken looked at the signature on the painting.

Although Ken didn't know much about art, for the sake of his daughter, he was familiar with some relatively famous artists.

Master Q, a famous painter of the country, her artworks were very valuable. If she passed away, the price of her works would definitely appreciate even more.

Quintin said proudly, "Ken, this painting was given to me by Master Q. Of course, I didn't take it for free. I paid her fifty thousand, but the real value of this painting must be far more than that."

Atlas happened to pass by Quintin and inadvertently glanced at the painting. Perhaps this painting was indeed the authentic work of Master Q, but the lines were very simple. Moreover, Master Q had a lot of paintings, so this one actually was worth fifty thousand at most.

Atlas passed by Ken who was busy greeting Quintin and pretending not to see him. However, Lily Butler, Zoee's mom, could not ignore Atlas. After all, he was a guest. "You must be a classmate of Zoee. Please sit inside!" Lily greeted him politely.

"Thank you." Atlas answered, walked past the reception table and threw a check on it.

Lily didn't pay too much attention. She turned around and went to greet Quintin with her husband.

When Atlas entered the room, Georgie and others had arrived.

Seeing Atlas, Georgie raised his head from the mobile phone and immediately greeted him, "Atlas, come and sit down!"

Atlas sat down next to him. Georgie said, "I'll finish this round and we can start another round together!" He was playing a mobile game.

Atlas was bored and agreed, "Okay."

Before they could start, Zoee had come back from the exhibition and began to greet everyone.

Harvey and others also arrived.

Zoee glanced at the crowd and saw that almost all the people had arrived. She said with a smile, "Let's sit for a while. When my father's people arrive, the banquet will begin."

"It's okay. Zoee, sit down to have a rest and chat with us!" A boy looked at her and said shyly.

Hank Young, who was beside Harvey, also said with a smile, "Yes, Zoee. We are all classmates. Take it easy. Sit down and have a chat with us!"

Zoee looked around and finally stopped beside Atlas for a moment. She smiled sweetly and said, "Okay, Let me sit down and accompany you all!" Harvey immediately eyed Hank, who understood right away. He stood up and said with a smile, "Sit here, Zoee!"

However, Zoee smiled and said, "Thank you. There is still an empty seat beside Atlas. I'll sit there."

Because Atlas' wasn't really popular in their class, so the seat next to him was empty, just as Zoee had expected.

Hank looked awkwardly at Harvey who was very unhappy. If he had foresaw this, Harvey would have asked Hank to take the seat beside Atlas.

"Atlas, may I sit here?" Zoee said with a smile.

Atlas smiled, "It's my pleasure!"

Zoee was happy "Thank you, Atlas!"

Looking at Atlas who was talking and laughing with Zoee, Harvey was so jealous. He thought for a while and had an idea. Suddenly, he looked at Hank and said loudly, "Well, Hank, today is a big day for our dear Zoee to hold an art exhibition. Did you bring any gift?"

Hank had been following Harvey for several years, and they had a tacit understanding of each other. Hearing Harvey's question, Hank knew what Harvey wanted to do at once.

Hank replied loudly, "Harvey, who do you think I am? Although I don't have much money. But it's Zoee's big day. How can I bring nothing?"
