Wait! what!

1 drove my little cuties to the park. We played football, ran around and had so much ice cream and burgers, even though Cullian was getting us more later in the day.

We all settled on the grass, I was fucking exhausted, I could tell my pups was too.

“Mummy look! The cloud is shaped like a heart,” Drake said, pointing a finger to the sky as we all squinted, looking up at the direction.

“Drake’s right, wait! That one looks like a doughnut,” Blake said and we all laughed.

Few hours later, I drove us all to my restaurant. I haven’t been there in one week, so I needed to see how my employees were doing.

“Good day Madam,” one of my employees greeted as she walked into my office

“Good day, I need to see the accounts from last Friday. I need to know how Much got in and out.” I instructed.

“Okay boss,” she said, bowing slightly, before walking out the door.

“You guys should stop running around, you’ll hurt yourselves,” I yelled at my triplets running around my office.

“That’s why I don’t like bringing you guys along,” I murmured.

“Daddy!” Aurora yelled running to give Cullian a hug and her brothers. followed her behind.

“Whoa!” You all are getting so big, soon I wouldn’t be able to hold you. three at once,” Cullian teased.

I stood up as he advanced towards me.

“I missed you,” he placed a kiss on my lips, before turning back to my triplets.

“Me!” They all screamed, hopping around in joy.

“Let’s head out then,“Cullian mumbled.

We got to the Pizza shop, and we ordered ourselves some cups of ice cream and pizza.

“Mum, I’m full,” Drake mumbled, running his hand on his belly.

“I’ll have yours then,” Aurora said, reaching for Drake’s cup of ice cream.

“Have mine too,” Blake said, handing over his cup to Aurora, and with joy in my little girl’s face, she took them all.

“Watch how you eat honey, You’ll gain much weight if you continue,” I teased, but Aurora paid no heed to what I said, she kept eating.

The next morning, I woke up to the sound of Cullian on a call.

“But is it that important, you know I didn’t plan for any of this, can we reschedule the meeting for next week? Shit! Alright I’ll be there,” Cullian hung up.

“What is it honey?” I sat up.

“Darlene. You’re awake, did I Wake you up?” he walked up to me, and kissed my lips softly.

“Good morning,” he said gazing deep into my eyes, his both hands cupping my face.

“Good morning, but you haven’t answered my question,” I folded my

arm.

“Yes darling, I was called to an urgent meeting in Italy, I don’t know why they took this long to inform me, I’ll be leaving this afternoon,”

“And when will you be back?”

“Tomorrow I hope,” he kissed me again, I broke out.

“You know I hate it when you leave me,” I drew my brows together.

“I know, I hate to be away from you too,” he kissed me again, but this time I didn’t break out. Only if Drake hadn’t shown up, my husband and I would be crashing on the bed by now.

“Mum,” looking at his drowsy eyes, he had just woken up, he came to where I laid.

“I hope you slept well my love,” I kissed him on his head, and Cullian did

too.

“I’ll make us breakfast,” Cullian winked at me.

“What has happened to my husband? Please, I don’t know this man!” We both laughed, but honestly what had really happened to my husband? Could this strong, cold, bossy, arrogant and authoritative man, be this sweet and everything gosh!

“But why do you say that Darlene,” he raised a brow.

“Well, you’ve been cooking lately, and I heard from one of the house helps, shhhhhhh, that you never cook for yourself, and yes! How do your meal taste so good, when you could barely cook?” I asked.

“Well I learnt how to,” Cullian smirked.

“Wow! For who actually,” I couldn’t see my face, but I knew my cheek. must have turned tomato red.

“For you darling,for you,” he kissed me on the forehead this time.

“I love you,” he said.

“I love you too,” I responded.

“Don’t say too,” he mumbled.

“What? Why?”

“Well it sounds like you’re agreeing to my love, not loving me on your

own will,” I burst out in laughter.

“I’m sorry my darling husband, I love you,” I kissed his forehead, gazing at his beautiful Amber eyes, that I am gratefully waking up to each and every day.

“I love you more,” he said.

“Have a safe trip, my love,” I waved at Cullian who was seated in the passenger seat of his black Mercedes. The driver was to drop him off at the airport, where he took his private jet down to Italy.

I made breakfast for the kids, and also made sure they all took their bath. And when it was noon, we all decided to chill, and watch a movie. Of course it was Sunday!

We were all engaged in a scary movie, funny how my kids were more interested in movies like that, than cartoons.

“Where’s Blake,” I turned around searching for him.

“I think I saw him run outside,” Aurora said, while Drake was so focused on the movie, almost biting off his fingers in fear.

I walked outside, looked around, but I couldn’t find him.

“Blake!” I called out, but there was no response.

“Blake!” I called out again, heading to their play house which was in the backyard.

There he was playing with his toy cars, but there was a strange man standing right beside him, watching him play. How could my guards let a stranger into my building? Wait! He wasn’t a stranger, I remember this. face, this body. And when he turned to me, I could only make one word in my head.
