“Why would Darlene do such a thing to me? not when I’m this attached to her, I mean we just bonded this morning and the next thing she had. disappeared, i have searched everywhere, but there was no sign of her. Where could she have gone? I turned to look at my wall clock, it was past 11PM.

I had instructed my men to search for her, those boys better not return. without my wife. I could hear my phone buzzing, I took my phone out of my pocket, looking at the screen it was an unknown caller.

Why would anyone call me this late?

“hello?” I said with my brows drawn closely.

It’s about one hour later, I was left alone in the room, although my hands and feet were tied, my eyes were no longer blindfolded, I struggled to lose the ropes, twisting and rolling my hands and feet in different directions but the rope were too tight, i looked around, maybe there could be something i can use to loosen or cut the rope but there

was none.

I could feel tears pouring down my cheek again, I had been crying for hours now, that it felt like my eyes were about to fall off.

Wait! I sighted a lighter, maybe one of the men had forgotten it there, I managed to get myself to where the lighter was and there with my hand. both tied, I picked up the lighter.

In a few minutes my hands were now loose and I repeated the same process by burning the ropes tied to my feet.

I tiptoed to the door, I reached out to the doorknob, twisted and pulled it backward, but it was locked. I turned to the window because that had been my second option if the door was locked, “oh goddess I hope the floor isn’t too high,“. Luckily, it wasn’t

I called his number and without wasting time he answered the call.
