Killer (The Satan Sniper's Motorcycle Club book 5)

Chapter 13 (Killer)

"Hey, guys, I see I caught you two at the wrong time." Hannah walks in, with her Dr coat in her hand.

I move to help her put it on. Her stomach is enormous. She's only 6 months pregnant, but she looks like she is ready to pop. I knew it was twins, even though she wanted to keep it under wraps. River wasn't capable of keeping things under wraps with the club, it just came out.

"Nah, I was just telling Killer he needs to check on my sister while I stay here with Sin," Frost lies cooly as Spade enters the room with coffee. Raven eventually leaves the bathroom, but I can tell by her serious face something is wrong. She tilts her head, beckoning me outside.

I follow wordlessly as Hannah checks on Sienna.

Raven is short, but her deadly demeanor makes her 3 inches taller. She has the body of a warrior, broad shoulders, hips, round ass, and legs that have climbed many mountain tops in her days working with air force's extraction team. Too bad she preferred the company of a woman.

Her light green eyes are small but get smaller when she's worried, and the lines around her eyes are the only giveaway that she is in her late 30s.

"River just called. Apparently, Natasha is the one with the problem, not Sienna."

"She's lying, Natasha has never done anything dangerous in her life. I find it hard to believe."

"Well, River said she was beaten up pretty badly and her boyfriend and his friends locked her in her room for days. By the time she got out of there, they were gone and left a dead guy in her room. She was going to call the police when the said dead guy's people came to look for him. They beat her up, but luckily security came in time. The men left, intending to find her. She was too embarrassed to call her dad, so she called Sienna."

I take a deep breath. This wasn't good news. Because it meant Sienna was innocent and Natasha is Frost's sister, which meant family, "Fuck."

"Didn't she know Sienna was pregnant? She could have called anyone else," Spade says as he takes a few steps closer to us.

"Don't know, but for all your bitching to Frost, looks like missy over here is in fact an innocent bystander and a brave one at that to risk the life of her baby and herself for one person." "Natasha isn't just a person, they are practically sisters."

"There is more, well, one more thing," Raven informs us with a not so amused smile.

"The dead man's people, well they are bikers, The Chainsaw MC."

"I've had a few run-ins with them over the years. They are 1% ers. They not that bad unless you fuck with their own," Spade says as he touches his neck with his index finger. "Maybe we can set up a meeting and see if we can calm things down with the Prez. I'm sure they want something," I tell them.

"Get River to do it," Spade suggests.

"Nah, get Frost to do the talking. She is good with her words, and well, a man is always more favorable to a woman's wants than a man's needs," Raven interjects.

And she has a point, my sister knows how to get what she wants. It was all those psychology books she's been reading since she was a kid.

"I'll chat with Frost, in the meantime, see if Zero can get more information about these Chainsaws. I'll do my own investigation once we know more. Spade, you stay the night with Sienna. Frost and I need to have a brief chat with Natasha." What I wanted to know was what she was doing with these men in the first place. The entire thing didn't sit well with me. The club didn't need another war on their hands. And if I have to take out the Chainsaws one by one, that was something I could live with.

Hannah walks out of the room, smiling as her brown eyes quirk at me, "I hear you were quite the baby daddy tonight, delivering your son and all." She winks at me and walks away before I say a word.

Not that I was going to say shit. I never cared what people said, their actions however sometimes ended with my knuckles in their faces. But Hannah was River's woman. And I didn't hit all women, just the bad ones who tried to kill me in the past.

I grip the edge on top of the doorway, and my eyes stay on my sister, not looking at the sleeping woman in the bed.

"Does medical cover these rooms?" Raven asks as Spade snorts.

"Fuck no, they only make these places for Mayors, and the high lifers from Liston Hills," Spade says, and my mouth gets tight as Kylie's face goes from mildly amused to dead in a matter of seconds. "Sorry, Frost," Spade apologizes with a grimace.

I knew she put it on my bill and signed my name, and I didn't give a fuck. I had more money than the two of us could ever want with adding the extra's my sister threw away like dust whenever she splurged or decided to be a fairy godmother and help people.

"Come on, we need to get to Natasha. Spade will stay with Sienna. I'll fill you in on the way."

"Raven, let River know we on our way, gather the club, prospects included."

"Sure thing, VP," Raven says.

The three of us walk out of the ward, Frost winks at the nurse staring at us.

Once we get into the 4x4, I fill Frost on what's going on and she doesn't react, or explode, merely looks out the window. I turn my head a few times to stare at her; I know she is thinking about calling her father, but for many reasons, she can't.

What she did, had a major impact on her relationship with Marcus, and although he loves his daughter until her 5 years were up, his hands were tied.

He had to show face to protect her from any fallbacks. She killed my father's son, and my dad wanted revenge. The only thing protecting Frost was her link to the club and her separation from her father. TRUTH is, if it ever came down to it, even with my unfeeling soul, I am not sure if I had it in me to kill my father.

Frost knew that, and she also knew that she couldn't do it either. So for now we settled on the no contact rule. But there would come a day where she would have to confront the circumstances of her choices. I knew she missed my brothers, David, Michael and Jace especially. But I think she just missed Liston Hills and the comfort of home. Frost was never meant for this rough life. She was born to marry a man that spent his days in an office and his evenings with his family. Life doesn't turn out the way predict it, but I always believe we can change our path and make our own life.

"I'll call him if I have to," I tell her, and she nods once in agreement. We park inside the parking lot of the Clubhouse. Frost is the first one to jump out, storming toward the Clubhouse doors. The rain has stopped, but the puddle of water is deep and splashes as I follow her, with Raven in tow.☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
