with fervor, he cries

tears that singe his forlorn face

anger waits silently

lies unseen, waiting to coil

volcano erupts

hurt, burn, heart torn in pieces

above the boiling steam

stars blazed in the night sky bright

tentacles I feel

slither, tug, caress

unseen unwanted lover clings

stars gleam twinkle pulse

lie cold the night shivering

foggy tendrils grasp

my heart beats beyond

death asleep is peace
