I Become A CEO After Divorce

Chapter 2 I heard that you and Zane had a license?

Yanis stood by like a bystander and watched Zane baby-sit Neve to his parked car.

In the five years they had been married, she had never seen a Zane as gentle as the one she had just seen, except on the day they got their license.

She thought that Zane was not a gentle person.

But today she realized that his tenderness was only for one person.

And that person, not her Yanis .

"Albi said that you wanted to see me?" Zane asked as he walked over and stood in front of her.

Yanis looked at him as if she had never known the man in front of her before.

It is clear that he himself said last night that Albi should find her today to sign.

It is clear that he brought people around

Now it's another look like he doesn't know anything.

Yanis collected her thoughts, "Let's go in and talk."

Yanis said Yanis took the lead in the door with his feet up.

Zane takes a step back and follows Yanis.

The two of them settled down at the window seat.

Yanis did not order any coffee, but asked the waiter for two cups of warm water, one to Zane, one in front of himself, "Sorry, recently too poor to drink coffee." Zane gave her a look, "Did you spend all the money I gave you?"

Yanis answered the question, "When did she come back?"

Zane hasn't said anything yet.

Yanis asked again, "Last night?"

"Did you pick it up yourself?"

"the Bennetts know she's back

"Yanis ."

Zane interrupted her in a deep voice, "What exactly did you want to see me about?"

Yanis was stunned, looked at the person sitting across from him and asked in a light voice, "Last night you said you asked Albi to find me to sign, did you still sign?" Hearing Yanis' words, Zane raised his hand and squeezed his brow, looking at Yanis with little warmth in his eyes, "I thought you would drag your feet and not want to sign." Yanis sniffed and curved her lips, "Can I not sign if I don't want to?"

"Can't."

As soon as Yanis' words left his mouth, Zane took over.

Yanis curbed her smile, "So, why am I dragging?"

With that, Yanis picked up the glass of water on the table and passed it to his lips and took a sip, "Zane, I'm ready to let go."

Zane listened to her and didn't answer, but there was an indescribable choking sensation when he heard what had just been said.

Yanis met his cold eyes, "I'm ready to let myself go, let you go, give you back to her, let you go and love her well, this road is too narrow to walk the three of us, and I don't want to stay in the bottomless abyss, so I'm going to go first and let you two walk the road of prosperity."

When he finished, Yanis held out his hand towards Zane, "Where are the papers, I'll sign them."

Zane just looked at her.

The person in front of him has been with him for five years and he seems to have only seen her when she is meek to him.

But have never seen such as now, crisp and decisive, not dragging the look.

Even, in this moment, there was an indescribable sense of oppression that pressed him to catch his breath. Just then, Zane's cell phone rang.

Zane retracted his eyes and answered the phone, his tone was unprecedentedly gentle, "Okay, I'll be right out."

Hanging up the phone, he returned to that cold look and looked at her, "I'll have Albi bring the documents to you."

Yanis withdrew her hand and nodded, "Good."

"But it may not be too late today, tonight the Lawrence's Manson is having a dinner party and Catherine asked us to come back together." Yanis froze, then responded, "Okay."

No matter how the Lawrence treats her, or how Zane treats her, Catherine has nothing to say to her.

So Yanis agreed to meet Catherine again as her granddaughter-in-law and to say goodbye.

They won't cross paths in the future.

Yanis sat in the cafe for over two hours before getting up to leave.

1:00 pm.

Manch Star

Yanis parked his car and entered the hotel through the back door.

After searching around, I found Bonnie in the temporary lounge at the far end.

Bonnie was the first to greet her when she saw her, "I thought you were going to stand me up again because of Zane."

Yanis somewhat embarrassed to look at Bonnie, "I ...... will give you a shout this time before I stand you up."

The smile on Bonnie's face instantly disappeared, "What did you say?"

"Tonight the Lawrence's Manson is having a dinner party and Catherine asked me to go back with Zane."

Bonnie stared at Yanis for a long time, "So you went too far and chose Zane in front of me?"

Yanis lifted her hands and gently raked them at the corners of Bonnie's lips, "After today, my future choices are all yours." Bonnie raised her hand and slapped Yanis' hand away, "Save those sweet words for Zane, I don't want to hear them."

"Bonnie."

Yanis suddenly shouted in a very serious voice.

Bonnie doesn't say anything, just looks at her.

Yanis looked at Bonnie for a long time and then said, "Where's the teacher? He didn't come?"

"Travis is a socialite. Is there anyone he doesn't know at this kind of event, from a three-year-old to a 70- or 80-year-old Catherine?" Bonnie finished her response and suddenly approached Yanis, "Is there something you're not telling me?"

Yanis smiled at Bonnie, "What can I hide from you? Only when I hid the license with Zane from you."

Bonnie Cold whispered, "That I can remember for the rest of my life."

Yanis was pulled by Bonnie and sat down in a chair off to the side, "Are you and Zane getting anywhere?"

Yanis thought for a moment, "Yes, I guess."

Divorce is also considered progress.

To put an end to this failed marriage.

"That's good, what about five years, these five years even if it is a stone also warmed up for her."

Yanis hmmmed and didn't say anything else.

Yes, five years, the stone can be warmed up.

But she failed to the point that even saying a word was disliked......

Yanis stayed with Bonnie for a while and then went back to the place where she and Zane live.

D-king Castle.

Every time he went back, Yanis would call the housekeeper at the Lawrence's Manson in advance to ask who was going to be at the dinner.

This way she will be ready with a gift for each one.

But this time, Yanis didn't call back.

She doesn't want to cater to Zane anymore, so there's no point in doing something.

In the evening, the door was opened on time.

Yanis looked up at the sound of his voice.

Zane entered through the door, followed by Neve.

Yanis was a bit shocked, not expecting to go back to the Lawrence's Manson, and Zane was planning to take Neve with him.

"I'm going to change my clothes, you wait here for a while." Zane ignored Yanis, just said to Neve, and turned around and went upstairs.

Yanis did not intend to say anything, nor did she bother to put herself in the position of hostess to make some superficial courtesy deal with Neve. "I heard you got a license with Zane?"

Just as Yanis was concentrating on the show, a female voice rang out to her side.
