Human King

Chapter 94: Returning home (4)

"The king must not die!!"

The goblins answered back as they raised their fists in the air. They punched the sky as they howled like wolves.

Those who couldn't speak spoke with their body as they trampled the land with their feet and crushed the trees with their fists.

The intensity of the goblins was so hot that one could physically feel it.

Of course, Didi was also one of the goblins who gave off that kind of feeling as he looked at the blessed goblins who answered him.

To his surprise, it was not just Dal, Una, Ika, and Hig. There were many other blessed goblins who were shouting loudly.

He didn't expect this type of reaction. After all, he was just talking to the four goblins that were walking with him.

Although he didn't mind the other goblins joining, this made him a bit more mindful as he turned around.

"Let's go."

He walked forward as he thought he was able to achieve his goal much better than he thought he would.

After all, he just wanted the goblins to be more conscious about the king. Even if Dawn holds absolute control over the goblins, the goblins must make an effort to keep him safe.

And Didi wanted the goblins to level up their game of protecting the king. Although Dawn doesn't really need protection, Didi wouldn't take no for an answer now.

And before Didi could convince the king, he thought that the subordinates and servants of the king must change first.

For Didi, the goblins must be willing to die for Dawn at any moment. No…he already knew that they were ready to die for Dawn.

It was just that it was not enough. Whatever determination and resolution the goblins currently have for the king was not enough.

They were too complacent about the king's strength that they let him do whatever he wanted without any guards.

They were too arrogant in thinking that there would be no one who would be able to win against Dawn.

And they paid the price for it. No…Dawn paid the price for it.

Didi bit his lips as he remembered the scene of Dawn being on the ground, bleeding and armless.

'I will never let that happen again…'

Didi swore in his heart that he would die first before Dawn – that he wouldn't let Dawn hit the ground again.

That was how determined he was in keeping Dawn safe in the future.

And so, with that kind of flame burning in his heart, Didi led the goblins towards where Dawn was resting.

And where Dawn was resting was where Karkas was staying.

It was about time to see what kind of decision Karkas would make in this situation.

****

In the ground where it would be cold to lay on, there was a bunch of leaves stacked together. There were so many leaves that it wouldn't be weird to think that the trees nearby made an effort to make it.contemporary romance

However, that was not all.

There were also a bunch of woods and trunks of trees stacked together. It seems they were there to keep the leaves from escaping.

The trunks of trees were placed around the leaves in an orderly manner, and in the center of it was the leaves.

And when Didi's eyes moved up a little bit higher, Didi could see the white body of a goblin, who was his king.

It was Dawn, who was unconscious for the whole day now ever since the Warmen defeated him.

He looked so peaceful as he slept that it wouldn't be weird to think that he was actually dead.

It was not only that but also his body was perfectly clean. There was no dirt, injuries, or scratches that Didi could see.

It was then.

As Didi continued staring at Dawn, a voice suddenly interrupted him as that voice reverberated in the forest.

"Goblins!" That voice said as it spoke with much passion and vigor.

Even without Didi looking, he could tell who it was immediately just from the passion coming from the voice.

It was Karkas.

There was only one reason Karkas gathered the goblins again in this time, and that was to announce something.

Although the battle ended not too long ago, Karkas didn't care about that, and even the normal goblins didn't care about that.

They had to be fast and precise to keep Dawn safe. Even the single scratch shouldn't be put on his body now that the goblins are here.

And Karkas made his decision circulating on that thought. He precisely and exactly calculated every single thing on his mind.

He weighed cons and pros until he finally came to a decision.

Although what he did was hard, it didn't take him long as time was of the essence.

It was then.

Karkas finally continued speaking as he spread his arms wide open for every goblin to see.

There weren't many goblins now that they have been chipped down to almost 700 goblins. However, 700 goblins are still a significant number.

"Right now, we are still in the west. The hated west where the king was injured by unknown enemies!"

The place where Didi and Hig managed to retreat on and meet with Moris was still located in the west. They could still see the mountains that were piercing the heaven by here.

That was why they knew that they were still in the west.

And the west was dangerous. No, any other land that does not belong to their village is dangerous.

"The king is still unconscious and has not given any signs of waking up!"

"And to make sure that the king haves the best rest that he could get in this forest…"

Karkas then pointed to his back, to the east.

"We will be returning home!"

And as if the goblins have been patiently waiting for his words, they bellowed out a roar.

Oah!!!!

All of the goblins, including blessed goblins such as Didi, and Razta, had their mouths open wide.

"We will return to our village!!" Karkas shouted as loud as he can to make the goblins hear him.

"Return!!" The goblins shouted back as they punched the air.

It was the beginning of their journey towards their home.
