Chapter 217: Destruction
"My king!!!!" Moris shouted out loud as he covered his entire body with his Presence.
He didn't know what he would do in this situation. He didn't know what he would do in order to escape from Rabi, who was so strong that Moris knew that he would die if Rabi was actually serious in shredding his face to death.
Right, he knew that he would do even if he was defending against Rabi with all of his strength.
That was how strong Rabi was and that was how wide the difference that Rabi and Moris had with each other.
And that was only normal. After all, Rabi was the hyena who was called the strength of the three legendary hyenas.
There was no way that Rabi's strength would be normal or trivial if he was recognized for his strength even among the other two legendary hyenas.
That was why it was only normal for Rabi to be able to kill Moris in just a single flick.
However, it seems that miracles do happen as Moris could now feel that the weight on his head...disappeared.
Right, and that means that Rabi was no longer grabbing his head, and if Rabi was no longer grabbing his head, that also means that...he was no longer being shredded to death, which was a relief for Moris.
Moris immediately used his Presence to try and heal himself so that he would be fine now.
It didn't take him long to finish healing himself.
And as soon as he finished healing himself, Moris tried to find out if he could now move his body.
When Rabi first appeared in this place and caught Moris, Moris was unable to move his body at all as if he was stuck in the ground, and Moris knew that very well, which is why he was trying to find out if he was now able to move.
Since Moris could now feel that there was no hand grabbing his head and there was no pressure on the other side of his head, it was only logical for him to think that Rabi disappeared or something like that.
So...he should be able to move now. And it seems that it was correct for him to think so as Moris found out that he could now move his body.
And as soon as he found out that he could now move his body, Moris stood up.
Of course, the healing and Moris trying to find out whether he could move now or not all happened very fast, which is why Moris was very confused right now when he stood up.
Why? It was because...the forest was suddenly on fire and the ground was destroyed here and there.
Traces of fighting could be found everywhere, and this was the scene when Moris first stood up.
Of course, this brings us back to the present time, when Moris was just standing around and looking at his surroundings with a confused look on his face.
Moris really didn't know what was happening, and what's worse in this situation is that...Moris also couldn't feel anything at all.
It was as if his senses were gone, and that was only natural.
After all, Moris abused his powers too much, and his Presence. It was starting to affect him with him unable to sense anything at all.
And Moris only came to know that because he tried to feel what was happening in the forest only to find out that he couldn't feel anything at all.
Of course, Moris could see the fire, the land destroyed, the trees that were destroyed as well, but...he couldn't find the cause of all of this, which is why Moris didn't know what he would do from now on.
If Moris knew the reason why this happened in the forest, he would be able to make a decision right away.
He would know if he should run and he would know if he should stay in this place.
Why? It was because this might be a chance to kill Rabi, the strongest out of all the three legendary hyenas.
If this was a chance to kill that bastard, Moris would gladly help and try to take him down at all costs even though Moris was weakened to the point that he was only as strong as Didi right now.
However, since Moris wasn't able to feel anything at all, it was only natural that Moris didn't know what to do in this situation.
"Shit!" Moris cursed out loud as he tried to look for the tallest tree near him.
Since the trees were also uprooted from their roots, the trees were...gone.
The only standing tree in this place was not near to Moris, but since Moris couldn't use his senses to feel around in this place, there was nothing he could do but to go there.
And it seems that Moris already decided to do that as he disappeared.
He began to run as he kicked off the ground powerfully, and this made the ground crack up some more even though it was already destroyed.
However, that was not all as Moris continued to kick off the ground powerfully as he took his steps towards the only standing tree in this place.
Step by step, he was getting closer to his destination. And with his speed that was only second to Dawn, Moris was now standing right beside the tree.
Of course, Moris was not here for the tree itself or something like that, which is why Moris began to climb on the tree.
He grabbed on the tree's trunk and began to slowly climb the tree.
Since Moris wasn't sure about his physical condition but he was sure that he was weakened, Moris wanted to make sure that he would be able to save his strength for later.
After all, there might be a situation when Moris would need his strength. Every last drop of his strength would matter in a situation like that.
And it didn't take Moris long to finally climb on top of the tree.
And as soon as Moris reached the top of the tree and was now standing on top of the branch of the tree, he squinted his eyes as he tried to focus on his vision of the forest.
He tried to focus on his field of vision so that he would be able to see what was happening.
Even though Moris could tell that his senses were not working in his current condition, that didn't mean that his vision was taken away from him or something like that.
If something like that did happen, then Moris shouldn't even be able to see right now.
Heck, he shouldn't even be able to see when he first stood up, and since he could see right now, that means that his vision was working fine and his eyes were good.
That was why Moris knew that he needed to just see things to know what was happening.
However, to his surprise, there...was actually nothing going on.
The forest was just burning. And the fire was eating the whole forest up as it was spreading its wings in all directions, and that was not all as the smoke coming from the fire was creating a fog in the forest.
This just speaks volumes of how strong the fire was, but that was not important at all as that was all.
That was all that was happening in the forest, and that was weird.contemporary romance
It's not like Rabi would suddenly decide to just let go of Moris and go somewhere else or burn the forest.
That was why it was weird that this was all that was happening in the forest.
After all, for Rabi to suddenly let go of Moris and for the forest to suddenly be in this state, Rabi got to be fighting someone else in this place.
And Moris was sure of what he thought as he kept looking for signs of battle in the forest.
After all, there was just no way that the forest would suddenly become like this.
What's more, the monsters that Moris first saw when he arrived in this place - they were missing right now.
That means that the monsters have run away or were wiped out by someone else in the forest.
No...it would be more correct to say that the monsters have run away indeed.
Why? It was because Moris could not find any blood or corpse in this place at all.
Even though Moris had his senses gone and he was not able to observe things as good as he could before when he was still fine, that doesn't mean that he was now bad.
He could still do more things than any other monsters, and seeing traces of blood or corpses would be an easy thing to do for Moris' eyes, which is why he knew that the monsters have run away from this place.
'Damn it, where did they go?! What is happening in the forest!? More importantly, where is that bastard!?' Moris thought as he bit his lips while keeping his sharp surveillance on the forest.
