Human King

Chapter 103: Returning home (13)

"What do we do?" Yamu said as he looked at his comrades. His body was shaking quite nervously.

After all, what he experienced back in the forest was just that incomprehensible.

"So it can fool your senses…" Garistoka said as he nodded his head.

If a monster can fool a goblin's senses, it could only mean one thing.

It means that the monster could kill the goblin easily, or its hiding skills are just superb.

It was one of these two, and Garistoka sure hoped that it was just the latter.

However, they wouldn't make decisions just because they hoped it was the latter.

They had to consider every variable, happenings, possibilities, and of course, they had to consider that the monster was just a strong one.

After all, if they didn't do that, it was easy to imagine that they would be massacred.

"Can't we beat it together?" Mos spoke as he puffed his chest proudly.

If these blessed goblins were to fight the monster together, they would probably win.

They were goblins who could make a village right now if they decided to separate from Dawn's village.contemporary romance

What's more, if they were to go on a secluded part of the forest, they could probably become one of the bosses of that part.

That was why Mos thought that they could probably beat the monster together and come out on top.

If they didn't, it would just be weird. After all, who could trash so many blessed goblins at the same time except for Dawn?

However, it seems Wos had a different thought as he spoke with a solemn voice. It seems the little frustration that he had earlier with Razta was now gone.

"What if the monster is more than one? If they have the same numbers as us, I can't imagine us winning against them."

What Wos said was perfectly reasonable.

Monsters in the forest tend to form a pack or groups when they find a monster of their own race.

That was why assuming that the monster is alone is just dangerous. What's more, they may even number more than the goblins have right now.

That would also mean that the blessed goblins wouldn't be able to fight together as they would have to fight one versus one.

And if they were all as strong as the one Yamu had interacted before…Wos was sure that they wouldn't survive.

And all of the blessed goblins here knew what Wos was thinking about. That was why the mood became dark and heavy that no one spoke up.

After all, no one could guarantee their victory. And as if that wasn't enough…

Dududududu.

The forest vibrated, and the ground shook.

Swoshh.

The leaves of the trees being disturbed could be heard.

Huuuu.

The wind blew, and the goblins here could feel that it was hot.

Although the goblins here couldn't identify the cause exactly with their eyes, they all had an inkling.

No…they were sure of it as they all thought.

'They are catching up…'

They knew that it was the group of goblins that Karkas led.

And they knew that it wouldn't take long for Karkas' group of goblins to catch up to them now.

It was then.

As the blessed goblins here kept thinking about possible ways to solve the problem they have, Razta finally spoke up with a hoarse voice.

"Hmmm. The situation is…bad."

And when the goblins heard him speak, they all turned their heads towards him.

After all, all decisions lay with this goblin. This was the goblin who was leading them.

Of course, Razta is also the strongest goblin here.

Although they weren't sure about it, they thought that Razta would probably have some chances of winning against the unknown monster.

However, winning isn't the point of this expedition.

These goblins have to make the land their territory and make it safe for the unconscious king to travel.

Although Razta winning against the monster would definitely make the place safer, it wouldn't matter if it's only him.

After all, to make sure that the place is completely safe, normal goblins must be able to walk around leisurely and confidently.

That was the standard that Karkas has set up to know that the place is now safe.

"Huuu. We aren't even at the village yet, and we're already having problems." Razta shook his head as he remembered what Karkas told him.

Well, it wasn't anything complicated or something like that. It was just a simple reminder.

And that was…

"Wait for me at the village's entrance."

Although Karkas didn't explain himself any further, Razta's instincts helped him to know why Karkas told him that.

It was because Karkas suspected that some strong monster had made their village its territory.

And to solve that problem, Karkas would take the lead personally and kill that monster head-on with 700 goblins.

However, to think that they would be hindered even though they weren't even at the village yet…

The situation could only be called a disaster.

It was then.

As Razta was lost in his own thoughts, Wos spoke up as the representative.

"Razta, what do we do?"

They wanted to know Razta's decision right now so they could prepare themselves and the other goblins.

There were many actions that they could possibly take; fighting the monster, bringing all 300 goblins into the fight…

Well, it was mainly about fighting the monster.

One may think that it was easy just to change directions and not fight the monster. However, none of these goblins would ever think of that.

Why?

It was because the path that they were using was the shortest way to go back to their village.

There's no way they would let the king rest in an uncomfortable moving bed for more time just because they were afraid of some monsters.

At least, Razta didn't want Dawn to sleep that way as he spoke with a powerful voice.

"We will fight with those monsters!"

His Aura loomed in the air as he raised his hands up in the sky.

"Destroy those monsters and turn them to dust!"

It was then that Razta brought down his hands as he brought down the death sentence for the monsters.
