His Beloved Mate

Chapter 75 Audition

Sunny said in a hurry, "Dylan, this is my assistant. I'm here for an audition today. Isn't it normal for her to come with me?"

Cassie chuckled and frowned slightly. She said, "You have an assistant before you make your debut?"

She asked simply out of curiosity. But when it came to Sunny's ears, it was like that Cassie was mocking her for putting on airs.

Hearing that, Sunny's face changed slightly and she lifted her lips. Alice held her hand. She smiled and said, "Mrs. Mary is afraid that Miss Sunny can't take good care of herself. Isn't it normal to send me to take care of her?"

Indeed, Sunny was still a college student. Mrs. Mary had the only daughter, so she cherished Sunny very much.

Dylan narrowed his eyes and sensed danger. His eagle like eyes were sharp, and there was a hint of anger in his eyes.

Cassie raised her head to look at him. 'Damn it! It seems that Dylan is angry again.'.

She didn't want to see Dylan and Sunny have a quarrel because of her. After all, the Sunny's family had a very high position in the entertainment circle of this city. She pulled down Dylan's hand and said, "Forget it. Let's go."

Dylan put his arm around the Cassie's shoulder and tightened his grip. Cassie wasn't used to his behavior, but when someone was around, she still smiled and said, "Don't be like this. Someone is here." The bodyguards followed them into the auditorium.

Following them closely, Simon pointed at Alice with his index finger and warned, "Behave yourself, or I'll throw you out of the hotel immediately."

"I see." said Alice, biting her lower lip.

When the door of the auditorium opened, the director hurried forward and said with a smile, "Why is Mr. Dylan here today?"

Simon said, "Mr. Dylan sent Mrs. Dylan here and checked the financial statements of the hotel this month."

The director gave the middle seat to Dylan and said with a smile, "Then let's start?"

Dylan nodded. The staff began to call out the number. Cassie saw it from nine o'clock. Looking at the little girl who came to the audition, she felt a headache.

She had been looking forward to the acting skill of Sunny, but it turned out that she was wrong.

The role played by Sunny was not Rafael at all, but herself. It was the taboo in the entertainment circle to act like yourself.

Later, some of the young girls were either too good at acting, or they were laughing. And some of them even added playing without permission.

Cassie kept shaking her head. She rubbed her temples with a headache and sighed, "It's not easy to be a director."

She asked Cheryl, "How many numbers have we seen?"

"It's 38."

After tidying up his suit, Dylan saw that Cassie was tired, so he said, "Have a rest first."

The director smiled and said, "Okay, let's have a rest first."

A staff informed the actresses who came to audition. Cassie took out some snacks from her bag and ate them. Frowning, Dylan asked, "Are you tired now?"

After taking a sip of water, Cassie yawned and said, "Yes, a little. I'm tired after seeing thirty-eight people. Isn't it more tiring for you to read so many financial statements and investment plans?" 'Is she feeling sorry for me?' Dylan wondered?

Dylan said, "What's wrong? When did you care about me so much?"

Cassie's eyes dodged a little. She lowered her head and continued to eat biscuits. She muttered in a low voice, "No, I didn't. As the saying goes, follow the man you marry. I... I'm afraid that you'll die of exhaustion. I don't want my husband to die soon after we get married, and then put me in the name of making your death. In this way, I won't be a rich woman by then, and I won't be able to marry anyone with such a reputation. I'm so unlucky."

Dylan smiled, "Sleeping for seven hours a day is enough for me. Don't worry. I won't let you be a little widow so easily."

Cassie curled her lips. Dylan's burning eyes suddenly fell on the corner of her mouth.

Being stared at by him, Cassie felt a little shy. She slowly raised her head and looked at him. "I... why are you looking at me like that. Is there anything on my face?"

Dylan's hand reached directly to the corner of her mouth. He raised the corner of his mouth slightly and said in a brisk tone, "You have a bad habit of eating something. Who did you learn it from?"

Cassie wiped her mouth with a blush. There was really biscuit foam. Cassie mumbled shyly, "I'll be careful in the future."

Dylan said gently, "Well, don't promise me that you will keep your promise. I value actions more than sweet words."

After she finished the biscuits, Dylan picked up the water she had drunk and took a sip naturally. Simon, who was standing next to them, was shocked. He knew that Mr. Dylan was a slight neat freak. He wouldn't take anything that others had touched. But this time, he actually drank the water that his wife had drunk?!

Cassie asked, "What are you doing? Don't you have water yourself? Why do you have to drink mine?"

Dylan said, "You are all mine. What's wrong with drinking water?"

Hearing this, Cassie's face turned red. She turned around and said to Cheryl, "I have a good rest. I can continue."

Cheryl nodded and told to the director.

A familiar name rang in her ear, "No. 39, Betty."

Betty walked in elegantly from the lounge next door.

The moment the door was opened, Cassie carefully looked at her. Betty was so beautiful that nothing could describe her elegance. Betty wore a white Chanel suit today. Her long black hair was separated from the middle, and her S shaped bangs swayed slightly with her steps. Wearing a pair of high-heeled shoes, she was intellectual and generous.

It suddenly occurred to Cassie that this was the first time that Rafael appeared in the novel. Cassie sighed in her heart. No wonder Betty could be one of the top showgirls at the age of 24.

Dylan had read the original book and noticed this detail.

The story 100 Days of Sweet Love was about the hero, Sampson Shen and Rafael, a little famous female painter and a famous but low-key gentleman male dentist. The two of them supported each other, understood each other and finally got together in the past three months. It was plain and warm. There are no other persons between them, and no plot that mother-in-law spent money on the heroine and gave her five million to leave my son.

The content of the audition was very simple, but it was not easy to perform well. It was just an ordinary business trip, but it was very coincident that her teeth ached. Then she received a phone call. Her grandmother passed away, and she could not call a taxi on a rainy night. It was a very sad scene.

Cassie looked at Betty through the camera. Every look in her eyes was perfect. She didn't say much. Along with the soothing and beautiful melody, Betty's elegant expression was perfect, not making people feel that she was making a scene. Other people could even feel the sadness of the character in person.

Her tears mixed with the rain fell to the ground.

There was only one minute.

"Cut!"
