I wake up to the smell of coffee and my alarm.

There is a fresh coffee next to my bed and a bottle of water but no sign of anyone. I get up and get ready to head down to brekfast taking my coffee with me. Today I have decided to put on a pair of cream joggers and a crop hoodie, that’ll do me for Tuesday classes. I’ve pulled my blonde curly hair in to two neat braids and finished up with my chunky black and white trainers.

I take the lift down to the ground floor and head to the cantene alone, I check my phone on the way.

I giggle at Tinys message and continue on to the cantene. I opt for pancakes and bacon this morning with butter and syrup. I make my way over to the table Ajax turns to look at me and I smile at him, I put my tray down and go to sit in my usual seat when Aries pulls me down in to his lap and buries his face in the crook of my neck and inhales me deeply.

“My love, I’m sorry. Please forgive me? I let my jelousy get the better of me again.” I ignore him, he acted like a jack ass again! I lean over to Ajax as he motions to me. “I’m sorry baby. I love you, please next time at least text me that your going out so I dont worry OK?” I lean down and kiss him lightly and nod ” I love you too Alpha” I reply.

Aries huffs down my ear still firmly gripping on to me. “Where’s my kiss?” He says sadly in my ear, I look at him pouting but look away. Ajax sticks his tongue out at Aries taunting him and Aries punches him in the arm. Ajax pretends to cry and leans forward and pecks me on the lips again and gives me a big grin. He takes a fork full of food off my plate and puts it to my mouth I oblige and open up moaning at the taste of the food on my pallett. Aries prods at me trying to get me to turn but I ignore him he hasn’t even made an attempt at a decent apology. He puts me down in my seat and climbs on to the table in front of me standing tall.

“Excuse me pupils of High moon,”

He shouts getting everyone’s attention. What the hell is this! Aries hardly speaks a full sentence to anyone let alone address a whole room

“Last night I acted like a jelous possessive arse to my girlfriend Cici. Well actually I didn’t act, I am jelous and possesive. But... I made her sad and yelled in a tone I really shouldn’t have so now I’d like you all to witness that I Aries Reign apologise sincerely to you Cierra Cardle, love of my life for my unacceptable behaviour last night, I love you and will refrain from making choices for you, now please can I have a kiss love before i die of neglect?”

The cantene is deadly silent as everyone looks on at the spectacle Aries is making of himself. He crouches down on the table infront of me and I wait for a minute then finally give in and stand and kiss him, he pulls me to him and kisses me passionately as the audience in the cantene erupts in to applause and wolf whistles.

“Get down you dramatic idiot, you get this idea from Ajax?” I scold feeling embarrassed at the PDA. He smirks and jumps down from the table to take his seat placing me back in his lap.

“I think that’s the most anyone in the school has ever heard you say.” Rach snickers, Aries throws her a glare and returns his attention to me.

“I’m sorry love, sorry I’m not as calm as my brother or as good with words. I want you safe and I already have to share you with one arsehole I don’t want to share you with anyone else. Seeing other men so close to you made my blood boil.” Aries explained.

“OK I forgive you. Don’t forget I’m not just your Luna. You have been raised for this since birth, I’m still a 17 year old girl still getting used to all of this. I still want to have fun until I am the acting Luna and everything is business. Also, your brother isn’t an arsehole, apologise to him.” I reply

“Sorry bro” Aries manages to get through gritted teeth as Ajax stifles a laugh at his brother being scolded again.

The rest of the group tease the twins about how they’re wrapped around my little finger, Ajax feeds me brekfast whilst Aries holds me in his lap. Brekfast is over too soon and we all grab our bags and head to classes. My first class this morning is with Rach, Training and Rach did our pack training this morning I don’t know how they do it. This class is mandatory for warewolves to take, any humans that put in for it are told it is full or put in to another

Phys-ed class though there are not particularly alot of humans here and I think the ones that are probably know about wolves through either boy/girlfriends/mates or friends they have made whilst here at High Moon.

Once again I get to the mat the teacher Miss Paisley addresses the room, she’s also the head warriors mate and trains us back at the pack house. She stands at around 5′9, she’s slim and built with muscle. Her chestnut hair is always tied in a tight bun atop her head and she wears a constant frown on her face.

“Ok guys, as most of you will know your future Luna is now a ware, congratulations Luna and we look forward to you officially joining the pack. Now Luna Cierra you will spar with Rach. Everyone else break off in to twos and spar and rotate.” She says and then walks over to watch me and rach spar whilst the rest of the class starts. Why does she have to watch us? I get it I have to be strong and capable because im a future Luna but I ain’t Luna yet! And I’m sick of Rach handing my arse to me in training. I have improved immensely since I started training now I have shifted but Rach is still leagues above me. They pair me with Rach because she’s the Beta female and is basically born to protect me so essentially she’s also allowed to kick my arse when training to fight.

Rach and I get ourselves in to a fighting stance, we circle a couple times Rach smirking at me knowing in minutes she will have me pinned, I gulp and swing out my clenched fist at Raches face, she ducks and lands a closed fist to my ribs the blow knocking some wind from my lungs but I stay standing, I circle again and decide to go for her legs in one swift motion I drop down, swing out my left leg and spin. My leg whips in to Rachs ankles gripping them and throwing them from under her as she lands on her front on the mat catching herself last minute with her palms out flat so as to protect her face from the floor, we both jump back up and Rach goes in with a powerful high kick, I duck to avoid the strike to the face. I smell my Alpha’s presence but darent look their way. As I duck I land a quick jab to Rachs stomach making her shift back slightly, I glance to see my Alpha’s and Miss Paisley watching and feel Rach connect with my jaw, I don’t hesitate as I jump and land my foot on her chest causing her to stumble back, we circle a little again, Rach still looking smug. I’m feeling immensely proud of holding my own today this is the longest I’ve lasted. “Okay Luna, time to finish up.” Rach laughs. She takes a small run, spins and lands her foot in my abdomen, I fly off the mat the wind leaving my lungs. I lay on my back to the side catching my breath as Rach comes over to pull me up laughing. I smile back at her I know she’s impressed with my moves today. “Good job Luna, I am impressed though I think your Alpha’s need you. They’re looking ready to kick my arse.” She snickers.

I walk over to my mates my arm across my bruised stomach its still a little tender from the blow, luckily I’m a warewolf now and heal at a much faster rate or theyd be really angry, i laugh inwardly at the thought.

“Baby, are you OK?” Ajax whispers concern laces his expression. I nod and place a hand on each of their forearms. “I’m fine I was just sparring, you guys go at it all the time now go away if your going to get grumpy I held my own really well today, I’m proud of myself and I’m getting better.” I warn.

“My love, we had a free period and came to watch. We will be good promise.” Says Aries his face hard as usual.

“Luna, again.” Paisley barks my way.

We face each other again on the mat, I circle Rach, she makes the first move fist closed swiping at my face thus time. I manage to dodge to the right and get her with a kick to her left making her stumble to her right. She shrugs me off and lunges at me throwing her hands around my waist and making her body a dead weight around mine swinging me round yanking me forcefully to the floor, Rach lands next to me but moves quickly to straddle me, I don’t tap out I can do this. Rach’s fist flies at my face and I manage to dodge it, I get a good grip on her leg and manage to pin her under me. She gets her arm out of my grasp and lands a good forceful blow to my mouth, I feel the warm blood pool in the spot but ignore it. I scramble to my feet and watch my opponent get ready in to a fighting stance once again looking muscular and fierce, her green eyes shining this is what shes good at as a beta but soon she will be no match for me. We circle and I spin with a high kick but I’m not fast enough, Rach catches my kick and flips me as though I’m light as a feather. I hear a growl as I hit the mat and Rach puts her foot against my throat smug that she’s won again. I look over to see my mates marching towards us.

I stand quickly and stand infront of Rach and let out a low warning growl back at them. It’s quite obvious I can’t take them when I can’t even take the Beta but I have to warn them, they told me they wouldn’t interfere, that they were just watching.

" Hey little Luna, sounds like you want to spar with the big guns.” Aries laughed.

“You have to be naked to fight me baby, thems the rules.” Ajax chuckles

“Seriously though Little Luna your getting good, I just don’t think we should watch anymore you’ve got me wanting to take my cousins head for bloodying up your pretty face.” Aries says looking a little sad at his confession.

“Rach keep your hands off my woman you bloodied up her lip.” Ajax moaned. He’s so childlike sometimes, my mates think I’m still a fragile human.

I wipe away the blood, they both kiss my cheeks and off they go, once the swinging double doors close behind them I get straight back in to my fighting stance, I will take Rach. Maybe not today but a Luna is strong and I aspire to be that Luna that can help protect her Alpha’s
