Chapter 15
Chapter 15 The Last Surviving Knostican Man
As Queen Asalea opened her eyes, surprise flashed through her whole face. How did he survive the Ecleteon Werewolves' attacked? She knows the man and the man almost literally jumped when he recognized her.
"Marshall! You are alive!" Queen Asalea leaped from her father's throne, ran, and hugged the man, who hugged her back laughing and crying.
"Princess, I know you are alive, I knew it in my heart," Marshall exclaimed looking at Asalea happily.
"I never knew that you survived the attack Marshall." Asalea with twinkling eyes fixed her gaze at the man. Marshall is her best friend. They grew up together. He is the son of his Father's right-hand man. He considered him as his brother.
"I am ashamed to tell you how I survived, but I will tell you anyway. I was at the men's comfort room when the attack happened. As I heard the commotion, cries, and shouts, I locked the comfort room's door and hide there until I felt that everything has been cleared already. I stayed here by myself, without letting anybody knew that I am alive." Marshall told Asalea.
Asalea cried upon hearing his story. "Good that you did not get out of that place Marshall, don't worry, I will never consider you as a coward. What you did is right, otherwise, you could have been dead also. No one, not even I could be a hero to defeat the Ecleteon's that time." She said, in between her sobs.
Marshall caressed her hair, "Did you use that time your ability to be invisible and ran?
"Yes, I did. If I have not done it, I might have been dead too."
"Where are you staying now Princess?"
Asalea looked down, "I am now the Queen of the Glodeous Kingdom Marshall. I recently married King Timodore."
"Wow, that's great Princess! I mean Queen Asalea." Marshall was smiling from ears to ears.
"I did it because at first, I intend to use the King's power to revenge against the Ecleteon Werewolves, later on, however, I knew in my heart that I married him not only because I needed him in my revenge but because I came to love him already." Asalea sadly stated, still with tears in her eyes.
"That's wonderful Princess, at least you are not just forcing yourself to live with him for that revenge purpose. I hope I could meet King Timodore one day." Marshall is trying to lighten up the mood of the woman. He can sense that something is bothering her.
"You will, I will make sure of that Marshall."
"Princess, apology to ask you this; is there something bothering you?"
Princess Asalea nodded, "The King has been cold with me lately and there is a woman whom he accepted as a guest in the palace."
Marshall's jaw tightened as he caressed Princess Asalea's back. He treated Asalea as his sister, he loved him actually more than a sister but he knows that if she will know it, she will shy away from him. So, he kept it to himself and continued to be a good brother to her. Right now, he is hoping that her husband is not cheating on her. He can kill a King if that happens.

Queen Asalea returned to the Glodeous Palace after promising Marshall that she will visit him again soonest.
She made herself invisible upon entering the palace. She does not want anybody to notice her while walking around. She wanted to know what's happening here without them knowing it. She roams around bu she could not see King Timodore. "Ahh maybe he is in his sacred room," she murmured.
She thereafter looked for Sulie. She checked first her room but it was empty. She roamed around and she saw Dreckos going to the dining area. She followed him but except for the Chef and his kitchen helpers, no one was there in the dining area. Dreckos just gave instructions to the Chef on what the King wanted to eat for dinner.
Queen Asalea walked again going to the Palace's balcony; it is at the far most end of the palace facing the mountainous range. There she saw her husband standing, hands placed on the railings in the balcony. She could only see his back from afar.
Before making further steps, she suddenly stopped thinking if she will approach him or just wait for him in their room. She was still contemplating what to do when she saw a woman's figure approached him. She then wrapped her arms around his waist and leaned her cheeks on his back.
Queen Asalea abruptly felt her blood boil and her knees shaking. Like a flash, she ran beside the woman tapped her shoulder. Surprised, the woman looked at her but instead of removing her arms around King Timodore, her lips beamed with a smile while looking at her as if throwing a challenge against Queen Asalea.
King Timodore suddenly moved and faced them. He was shocked to see her wife's blazing eyes. Immediately, he removed Sulie's arms around him.
"Queen Lea." All that King Timodore could say.
"With a pained look, Queen Asalea fixed her eyes on King Timodore and said. "Can we talk inside our room, husband?"
