Chapter 308
"Why hasn't she come?" After Iris helped Andrew with his make-up, he couldn't wait to see Emily.
The man said quickly, "I'll go looking for her.”
But after looking around, he didn't see Emily coming this way. Thinking of where Emily was just now, he couldn't help but sweat.
Oh my god, was there a mistake?
He came back trembling, his legs trembling as he stood by Andrew's bed.
Andrew asked coldly with gloomy eyes, "What's going on?"
"No... I don't know. Miss Johnson's gone. I didn't see her.” His voice trembled as he spoke.
"Find out what's going on right away." Andrew angrily rebuked.
The whole room was gone in an instant. They quickly went out to find out what was going on. Andrew and Iris were the only ones left in the room. Iris didn't want to leave, because no matter who found out, no one end up well.
So, it would be better to stay here. Even if he jumped on her now, she would be the only one he could rely on later.
Sure enough, as soon as Andrew saw that she was still here, he cursed unhappily, "Why the hell are you still standing in the way? Get out of here."
"I want to look at you, in case you need me later.” Iris said confidently. Andrew gritted his teeth in anger and reached out to slap her. But his hands were up, but he did not fall.
He suddenly felt very tired. The previous excitement had all turned into exhaustion, which made him sigh and lie down on the bed. He waved at Iris and said, "Get out! I don't want to see you."
Iris's eyes turned red. She wouldn't be sad if Andrew hit her.
But his ignorance made her feel worse than hitting her.
"Do you want to see Emily that badly, even if she doesn't like you at all and doesn't have even the slightest affection for you?" Iris asked with her eyes red.
Andrew was angry. Iris's words were just salting his wound, and he immediately cursed, "Shut your stinking mouth. I'm willing to. Even if she doesn't want to see me, I don't want to see your stinking face.” "OK, I'm an idiot, you don't like me so much, and I'm still here with you. But aren't you an idiot too? I'm telling you, you don't need to have anyone look into it, either. I met her today and she didn't come to see you at all. She's not here to see you at all, but to see that her son has been found and is in this hospital. Even if they knew you were staying here, they had no intention of coming to see you." Iris was so sad that she couldn't hold back from blurting out what had happened to Emily. Obviously, after she said this, Andrew became quiet and looked at her in a daze, which made her heartbroken.
She immediately walked towards Andrew with tears in her eyes and reached out to put her arm around his shoulder, "Don't be like this, okay? She doesn't like you. Just have fewer feelings for her! Look at me, look at the people around you. Is she that good and worthy of you?" "Ah."
As soon as Iris finished speaking, she was slapped aside by Andrew. “It's not up to you to comment on whether she likes me or not. Even if she doesn't like me, I will not like you. Get out of my way. You already know, but you didn't say it on purpose. I think you're just trying to get beaten up. Someone get in here."
When Andrew called out, the guard at the door came in immediately. "Take this woman away from me. I don't want to see her at all.” Andrew said coldly.
As soon as Iris heard that she was struggling, she shouted in a panic, "No, no, Andrew, I was wrong. Don't chase me away. I was wrong. I'm sorry.”
However, no matter how much she apologized or shouted, Andrew did not move his brows and still watched coldly as someone took her away. After Iris was taken away, Andrew said coldly, "Get me a wheelchair. I'm going out.”
It was the first time Andrew had asked to go out after being hospitalized for so many days.
His men were stunned, but no one dared to ask him. They immediately got him a wheelchair and helped him up, then pushed him out.
He asked his men to find out about Emily's son's ward and then go over there.
As soon as Emily finished telling Bryce the story and asked him to sleep for a while, she suddenly heard a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Emily frowned, patted Bryce's body and stood up to the door.
She thought it was Daniel again, so she opened the door with a smile. But when she saw Andrew, the smile gradually faded and a disgusted expression welled up.
Andrew had been staring at her ever since she opened the door. When he saw the change in her expression, his heart ached, and he smiled bitterly, "You're so unhappy to see me! Who do you think it is?" "Anyone is better than you. You are a liar and bastard. It's good that I didn't call the police to catch you. Do you expect me to be happy when I see you?" Emily said angrily.
Andrew came in with his wheelchair and said slowly, "Of course I didn't expect you to see me happy, but you don't have to glare at me. If it weren't for me, would you have found your son? The little guy was asleep, and he was cute. How did you find him? The Williams would let him go?"
Emily snorted coldly, "Don't expect me to thank you. You provided a good clue, but you almost..."
"Almost what?" Andrew looked at her playfully.
Emily was so angry that her face turned red. This shameless person wanted her to say some words about that day.
"Hmph, I think Franklin hit you lightly.” Emily said hatefully.
Andrew said, "Look, I'm still sitting in a wheelchair. Is it still light? I just touched you and kissed you. It's not serious. But your man almost crippled me.”
"You deserve it." Emily snorted coldly.
"But even if he did this to me, I still have a crush on you. What do you think we should do?" Andrew blinked and said.
Emily found that there was no reasoning with a stinky bastard. No matter what she said, he could lead the conversation into a wrong way. So she ordered her to leave with a cold face, "Get out of here. I don't want to see you for a minute.”
"Don't bother, we've both been uprooted from our hometowns, and it's fate that we met in a place like this. We've known each other for so many years, you can't be so heartless! But why are you alone here, where is Franklin? Is the child not his? The child is sick, and I didn't even see him in the ward."
"It's none of your business. Get out of here.” Emily pushed his wheelchair out.
Perhaps Andrew had pressed some device on the wheelchair, she failed to push it.
Andrew snickered and said, "You don't have to be angry. If it's not really Franklin's child that he won't be responsible for, I'm willing to be responsible and be your child's father.”
"You wish! Get out of here.” Emily was so angry that she pushed him out again.
Just as they were entangled, Franklin suddenly came back and saw Emily pushing Andrew's wheelchair. Andrew had a teasing and contented smile on his face, and the two looked very close.
