Chapter 63 Let Her Go Or Let Her Wither (Part One)
Era nodded. He held her to the wall and then jumped over. He turned to her and held out his arms. "Come on, don't be afraid."
He stared at her with his deep eyes as if she was his treasure. Not knowing why, Era shivered and slipped, falling into his strong
arms.
He didn't say anything. He just reached out his hand and took her into the car.
When he released her hands, she was somewhat loath to leave...
She sat in the car silently and looked at her hand. Her little face was blank without any expression. But in her mind, there were
all kinds of feelings. At that moment, she even thought of the saying, "hold your hand and age with you". She was really mad!
How could she wish to spend the rest of her life with him. What's the difference between that and dreaming?
She was afraid that step by step she would fall into the trap that he set, and never be able to get rid of it...
She was scared, more frightened than she was scared by the lightning and the two rogues. She was scared, she was really
scared. She loved him, and then would be doomed!
She felt a chill from the bottom of her heart, she held her shoulder.
"Are you okay?" Jacob turned around and asked.
"Nothing..." Era shook her head woodenly with wet hair and ironed on her face. Her black eyes were like a frightened bird,
looking rather restless and unsettling, making her look very delicate and lovely.
Then he threw the coat with his breath over her head. "Put it on." Jacob ordered in a cool voice.
"Thank you." After pausing for a long while, Era came to herself and put the clothes on her shoulders, let his breath encircle
again. In fact, she liked his smell very much, which could always make her feel at ease...
Is she really infatuated with him? Thinking of this, Era suddenly felt a trace of despair and slowly closed her eyes.
Her delicate body shook even more.
Squinting at her, Jacob was filled with a strange emotion. "Damn it!" He muttered and held her into his arms. He didn't want to
see her being so pathetic!
Comfortingly, he kissed her smooth forehead and nose, but her smell made him addicted. Soon, his kisses fell on her forehead,
cheeks, lips... His big hands started to swim all over her body, and his breath became faster and faster.
Era's eyes suddenly reddened. Somehow, she wanted to cry.
No one really cared about her. He saved her again and again only because of her body.
She was so longing for that moment. He didn't want to do that with her any more. He just wanted to worry about her safety and
care about her mood! But he didn't. All she had in her life was schemes, frame, use... No love, no warmth...
Disappointment and anger eventually turned into deep despair. That grey emotion surged towards Era like waves. She couldn't
control herself, she pushed him away, opened the car door and ran into the rain.
"Are you crazy?" Jacob followed her off the car, strode towards her and roared at her ears.
"Yes, I am crazy! I am totally a maniac! Just leave me alone." The heavy rain blocked her sight, but she didn't care. Giving him a
hard look, she ran forward stubbornly.
"Era!"
He was provoked by her willfulness, stepping forward a few steps and grabbing her wrist rudely.
"Let me go!" Struggle to get rid of him. Era turned back and shout at him. "I don't want to go back. You save me, but you don't
really worry about me! I hate you!"
"I'm not interested in a mad woman, so you can go back now!" He furrowed his eyebrows. He didn't understand why he had to
comfort a capricious woman in the rain!
Looking at him, her heart trembled, her nose twitched and her eyes turned red...
"You admitted it, woo woo..." He was really only interested in her. But he said it so ruthlessly. This made her feel even worse!
The man who had planned to continue to be mean to her, was stunned. Looking at her crying regardless of her image, he felt as
if something had strangled his throat.
"You... Ahem!" Jacob cleared his throat. "Don't cry... I didn't admit anything."
"You admitted it!" She accused him.
"I'm just saying I'm not interested in a crazy woman..." Damn it, he hated her tears. Jacob took a deep breath and cursed. "Do
we have to talk about this damn thing in the heavy rain?"
"No, you can get back to the car now." After giving him a hard look, Era walked away from the car. She would rather walk in the
rain than take his car.
Jacob frowned tightly and his eyes darkened. He couldn't stand it anymore. He drove madly to 120 miles per hour to find her, but
he didn't expect this.
Why does he have to tolerate this stupid woman again and again? If she's willing to get wet, he'll make her. When he was about
to turn around, he saw a fast-moving car suddenly rushing out from the corner and crashing into her, who was running crazily.
"Watch out!" Without thinking too much, he held her in his arms and rolled away.
Splash! The car passed them and splashed water on them.
"Do you want to die?" He pulled her up and roared.
Era, who had been awakened by his roar from extreme horror, shook off his hand reflectively. "I didn't ask you to save me!" Then
she walked on.
She knew he saved her again and she owed him one more time. She would repay him! But now she was heartbroken and she
didn't want to hear him shouting.
"Stop!" Roar again. "Come back! "
As if not hearing, Era continued her steps.
"Damn it!" He said rudely. This girl really had the ability to drive him mad! Without hesitation, he caught up with her and carried
her on his shoulder like a sack with a wave of his iron arm.
"What are you doing? Put me down. I don't want to go back with you!" Era struggled with her hands and feet.
"Don't challenge my limits again!" He slapped hard on her buttocks, and strode back to the car and put her in it.
Then he slipped into the driver's seat and started the car, ignoring Era's unreasonable words!
"Ah... Sneeze..." Era sneezed.
Seeing that, Jacob frowned and pretended to be impatient. The next moment, he turned the steering wheel sharply and the car
left a lap of water on the wet road of the pond.
Soon, they arrived at her apartment.
"The key." Standing in front of the apartment's door and looking at Era who was still trembling, Jacob frowned even more deeply.
Not in the mood to talk, Era pointed at the flowerpot by the door.
'This woman has no sense of safety! How dare she put the key here alone?' he thought. Giving her a hostile glare, Jacob bent
down and took out the key to open the door.
After returning to the apartment, she took a hot shower and found that she had calmed down a lot.
She came out in her knee length pajamas, with her hair hanging around her shoulders casually. Her face was a little pale.
Seeing that, Jacob actually had an impulse to hold her tightly...
She sat by his side obediently and looked up at him. Her eyes had returned to calm with a hint of alienation. "Thank you for
saving me again. Sorry, I was just too impulsive."
She didn't know why she was so obstinate. Since her mother died, she had never been so obstinate, because no matter how
obstinate she was, no one would care about it...
