The butler moved one of the books on one of the shelves and a door opened revealing a secret room.

The room was completely empty, there was only a book in the middle on a pedestal, he took it and took it out of the room so he could read, the book was some kind of diary.

Alessandro ordered as he sat down behind his desk to read quietly and without interruptions.

In that journal he talked about the experiments and how the darkness affected the humans, how he transformed them into terrifying creatures full of evil, into beasts without reason.

Alessandro read the diary for hours, he was immersed in the horrors that were written there.

When he saw that the sun had begun to set, Alessandro remembered that he had promised Abril that he wouldn't be long.

He left the office and gave the diary to one of his trusted guards and asked him to keep it safe.

He went to look for April, she was still in the garden, the children were surrounding her, they had made a crown of flowers and placed it on her head, those flowers were white and contrasted with her beautiful reddish hair, the warm and soft rays of the sun bathed her, and her smile was beautiful, radiant like the sun when it is at its highest point, every time Alessandro saw her smile she infected him with her happiness, that image was engraved in his mind, he would always remember that moment
