86 Someone to fight for After finishing off Baron Terren, Alessandro left the room.

Onil was curled up in a corner.

Alessandro put a hand on his back and said.

As he left the mansion Alessandro saw that there were about twenty children in total, he asked one of his guards.

_ Why are there so many orphans in this village? _A few years ago there was an epidemic, many of the parents of these children died, others were brought from nearby villages, since they were orphans no one missed them.

Alessandro hated to see that in his kingdom not everything was going as well as he believed.

Alessandro returned to that room that Baron Terren used for his experiments and took all the books that were there, also some of those strange stones that the Baron Terren had swallowed it.

Since he didn't know what those stones were or what they did, Alessandro tried not to touch them, he put them in a glass jar, since he had been so busy looking for everything that could help him find out what exactly Baron Terren was doing there that he was late.

When he arrived at the temple, April ran towards him, she was worried about him, she had stayed in front of the temple waiting for Alessandro to return, asking God with all her might that he be okay and return safely.

_ Why did you take so long? I thought something bad had happened to you.

_I told you it would be okay.

April felt something wet on Alessandro's back, when she saw his hand she realized it was blood, April's face paled and she said to him.

_ Are you hurt? Alessandro had forgotten that he was hurt.

_It's just a superficial wound, don't worry, I'm fine.

_ Don't worry, you're bleeding, don't ask me that.

April dragged Alessandro into the temple, April took him to the room, closed the door behind her and made Alessandro sit on the bed, she took off his shirt that had been torn and bloody as if he had been attacked by a beast, she took out one of her handkerchiefs, moistened it with water and cleaned the blood that was on his body.

_There's a lot of blood.

_It's not a deep wound.

_ Why haven't they treated you? The guards tried to do it, but he was busy.

After cleaning all the blood, April saw Alessandro's wounds, they weren't as superficial as he said.

April wanted to heal him immediately, she didn't want to wait for her magic to take effect.

But to do so she had to take off her earrings since they limited her magic, allowing only small sparks to come out.

April took off one of her earrings, placed her hand on his back and a warm light enveloped Alessandro, the wounds on his back healed instantly.

_April, what have you done? April hugged him from behind and said.

_Don't do that again, if you're hurt, let me heal you, or do you want to die? What will I do if you leave me too? I don't want to be alone again.

Alessandro had downplayed his wounds, since he had suffered worse wounds on the battlefield and had still fought.

But for Abril he was her only family, the only thing she had, even if it was a small wound she was terrified that she would lose him because of it.

Alessandro turned around, put his arms around her and said.

_I'm sorry, this will happen again.

April clung to his neck and said.

_I don't want to lose you Lessan, promise me that you will take better care of yourself.

_I promise you Aby, this won't happen again.

Alessandro noticed that Abril had taken off one of her earrings, he could feel her magic filling him, like a potion that recharged his strength, he separated her for a moment, took the earring that was on the bed, put it on and while he was doing so he said to her.

_Don't you ever do this again, it's dangerous, you still don't know how to control your magic.

_Then don't get hurt again, so I don't have to do this again.

_I guess this goes for both of you.

_Yeah.

April hugged Alessandro again and said to him.

_You are all I have Lessan, I don't know what I would do if I lost you.

Alessandro kissed her, caressed her cheek sweetly and responded.

_You won't lose me, I'll always be with you, you won't be able to get rid of me.

April kissed him back and responded.

_I wasn't going to do it, I want to be tied to you for the rest of my life, because for me you are my life Lessan.

That night Alessandro could feel the anxiety and fear that Abril felt, he hugged her all night and caressed her hair until she calmed down and fell asleep.

April dreamed about her mother, she told her with her face full of concern.

_You must not use your magic April, it is very dangerous for you to do so, you still do not know how to control it properly.

_I know mom, but Alessandro was hurt, I couldn't leave him like that.
