Chapter 53 

Hank served Jaden a dish. “Mr. Jaden, please have your meal. 

Jaden eagerly took a bite, but his smile froze immediately. With great effort, Jaden swallowed. “How did Ella manage to make such simple dishes taste so terrible?” Jaden looked disgusted.

Jaden said. “Let’s eat together.” 

Hank replied. “No way.” 

Jaden answered, “Ella put effort into this. It’s her first time cooking so don’t waste it Ear and look like you enjoy it” 

They had started with unbearably salty soup like an entire bag of salt had been dumped in. Hank tried the shrimp. “Geez, the shrimp hasn’t been 

clean” 

Jaden focused on peeling the shrimp. “So, be careful when you eat. 

Then Hank said, “The vegetables are undercooked. There are eggshells in the custard. Sorry, Jaden. It suddenly occurs to me that I have something 10 Lake care of. I’ll go first. Panicked. Ella rushed him to the hospital. And The diagnosis was food poisoning. 

Jaden had his stomach pumped and was put on an IV, still very weak. 

Ella was angry. “How could he get food poisoning from home–cooked food? What’s wrong with the kitchen staff.” 

Someone from the kitchen staff said, “The lunch was fine. Did Jaden eat something else when we weren’t looking?” 

Ella replied, “From now on, all food at home must be strictly monitored. This can’t happen again” Seeing him in this state. Ella felt a pang of guilt. She stayed by his side all night, only dozing off at dawn.
