Chapter 1069 Solve the Trouble
Although Lena didn’t say or do anything, Clare shrank pitifully as if Lena was
going to do harm to her.
Seeing her like this, those people who were already dissatisfied with Lena’s
actions were also angry.
They all stood up one after another, frowning coldly at Lena and saying, “If it
weren’t for her picking you back, you would have died outside long ago! You are
ungrateful!”
“That’s right. She looks elegant, but actually, she is ruthless.”
“I think she just clings to the rich, and now, she looks down on her adoptive
parents.”
Everyone criticized Lena, wishing to belittle her into the dust.
Lena paid no attention to these people’s comments.
She was well aware that most of these people were confused by Clare, while
some took advantage of this opportunity to gain benefits. Even if not, Lena did
not care about their opinions.
Lena couldn’t just endure it if someone wanted to wrongly accuse her.
Lena gazed at Clare for a moment, causing Clare to tremble all over.
Just as Clare wanted to continue talking, Lena took out her mobile phone and
clicked on it a few times, and soon, a video was displayed on it.
This was secretly filmed by Lena when Clare came to trouble her before. In the
video, Clare was arrogant and kept saying that she had raised Lena to become
her son’s wife. If Lena didn’t follow her instructions, she would ruin Lena.
Everyone was shocked.
They watched the old lady in the video, who was full of arrogance and profanity,
and then looked at Clare, who was aggrieved, in front of them.
“Oh my goodness! It’s a pity she didn’t become an actress!”
“That’s right! I sympathized with her just now! Humph! Give back my sympathy!”
Everyone who sympathized with Clare before was regretful, so they scolded
Clare harshly.
Blake, next to Clare, saw something was wrong and fiercely rushed toward Lena, saying, “You bitch! How dare you even shoot a
video!” Lena had been wary of his move and immediately took a step back. Before Blake could even touch Lena, Gideon, who
had been in the crowd, rushed out and kicked Blake hard. Blake couldn’t stand still and stumbled before falling heavily to the
ground. Clare and Blake’s son didn’t know what had happened, but as he saw his parents being beaten, he happily applauded
and said, “Wonderful! It’s
wonderful!”
Lena gave him a faint glance and looked at Gideon, saying, “When did you
come?”
“I’ve been here for a while.” Gideon supported Lena. He knew that once he
appeared, Clare and Blake would have more reason to slander Lena, so he kept
hiding in the crowd and kept an eye on their movements.
As expected, Clare and Blake still couldn’t resist and decided to attack Lena.
Someone had already called the police as Clare and Blake went crazy. The
police rushed over and took the three away.
As the crowd gradually dispersed, Gideon still apologized to Lena, “It’s my fault.”
At that time, Lena originally planned to deal with Blake and Clare, but Gideon
volunteered to stop her.
Gideon thought that Blake and Clare would be afraid if they were warned and
deported. But Gideon underestimated their extreme ferocity. He didn’t expect
them to find a way to come back and continue to trouble Lena.
