Finding Lilibeth

Lilibeth was still under the table. She wasn't moving at all besides the involuntarily shaking her body was doing. She just wanted to be away from here. There were to many people, there was police still here along with her family, Miss Emma and Leo and Lex. The police were helping to look for Lilibeth as Julian had explained her past and her hiding when she was around loud noises.

Leo and Lex were arguing, Lex wanted Leo to run with him where as Leo wanted to stay with his Gramps especially after hearing what there father had done. Leo and Lex both knew that at 16 they would be put into a home if no family would take them. Leo knew his Gramps would take them in but Lex didn't want to be around Lilibeth as he still blamed her. "She isn't at fault. She never did anything. This is dads fault Lex don't you see?" Leo tried to get through to Lex. "How is it his fault?" Lex asked. "He never wanted any of us so he got rid of our mother. He killed mum because she wanted more kids. He never wanted us and hasn't been a father to us since mum died. It's not right Lex" Leo said getting upset.

Dj, Zac and Gramps were still looking for Lilibeth. None of them were sure if she had left the room or not. The police were searching the rest of the house but Gramps decided to stay in the dining room as that is where he had heard Lilibeth whimper. Gramps looked under the table as a last resort and saw Lilibeth curled up shaking. He sighed in relief spotting her and let Zac know who had walked back into the room.

Gramps crawled under the table to get to Lilibeth. Leo and Lex stopped arguing seeing there Gramps trying to crawl under the table. Zac ran to tell Dj and Miss Emma they found Lilibeth. "My little Beth, you are safe now. Darren is in jail and will be there for a long time. I'm going to take you out from under here" Julian told Lilibeth so she knew what was happening. He didn't want her falling into a full panic attack. "He is going to kill me" Lilibeth whimpered out before screaming bloody murder when Julian touched her leg.

Julian tried to move quickly to get Lilibeth out from under the table but it was hard. He was a big man and even when he was on his hands and knees he was to big to be under the table. Lilibeth was also struggling and panicking. Zac, Dj and Miss Emma came flying into the dining room followed by several police offices who were still in the house. Leo and Lex just stood watching not knowing what to do.

Dj saw Gramps struggling to get Lilibeth from under the table and raced over to help. Dj pulled Lilibeth out and held her to his chest. She was fighting and in her mind she was fighting for her life. Her breathing was erratic and she was in the midst of a panic attack. Gramps quickly got out from under the table and pulled Lilibeth towards him in an attempt to calm her down. The police didn't know what to do at all but saw the girl struggling to breath. Zac filled in the Sargent who wanted to intervene and take the girl who was fighting to get out of the hold of first, her brother then her Gramps. He decided they may need an ambulance as Lilibeth's lips started turning blue due to lack of oxygen she was getting into her lungs.

"My little Beth, you need to breath for me. You are safe now. No one is going to hurt you" Gramps repeated over and over to the girl while rocking her in an attempt to calm her down but nothing seemed to be working. This panic attack was worse then the earlier one. "Do something" Leo called out seeing the colour of his sisters lips. Lilibeth passed out in her Gramps arms.

The ambulance officers were rushed inside by the police officers and taken straight to Lilibeth. "What's happened?" The ambulance officer asked. "She had a panic attack, the second for today. She usually stops breathing properly when having an attack and she passed out" Julian answered while wiping Lilibeth's hair out of her face. She had been in a cold sweat and the hair was sticking to her face.

The ambulance officers assessed Lilibeth and deemed it safe for her to stay in the house but made it known if she had another one today she would need to be taken to the hospital. Julian didn't put Lilibeth down at all, he wanted his granddaughter to wake in his arms so she would know she was safe. He also was holding onto the little girl because she was his life line. He had just heard that his daughter was murdered by the man she loved because she wanted more children and he never wanted kids. He blamed himself for not seeing it sooner.

Everyone was seated in the lounge room now with Gramps still holding Lilibeth. The police had just left after taking statements as had the ambulance officers. Lex had called Beau to let him know what was happening. No one really spoke, they were all lost in there own head and trying to process what had happened.

Beau came flying into the house screaming about Lilibeth destroying his family. All his brothers stood in defence of the little girl, even Leo and Lex. "Shut up" Lex called out watching to make sure Lilibeth didn't wake. "If she never came here, no one would know what dad did and we would all be fine" Beau ranted. "You knew?" Dj spat out causing Beau to freeze. Beau did know, his father told him on one of the nights they were drinking together. "You knew what he did and you never told anyone?" Lex fumed out. "So what?" Beau asked. Beau understood his fathers reasons and thought he too would of done the same.

"Get out. You aren't welcome here. You have a week to clear out of my daughters house before I throw you out. You are a disgrace Beau, just like your father" Julian stated while standing to face Beau with nothing but a look of disappointment in his eyes. "That's my fathers house" Beau replied smuggly, there was nothing Gramps could do. "There is a lot you don't know Beau. That house is in my family trust and you and that piece of shit you call a father, aren't in my family" Julian roared out causing Beau to step back looking shocked. Beau took one final look at his Gramps who was holding Lilibeth and then to his brothers "you pick that piece of shit over me and we aren't family anymore" Beau stated. No one moved towards Beau so he walked out slamming the door waking Lilibeth in the process.
