Fight for Me

Ruhan sees Morik throw a punch at him, and he quickly dodges. But looking back, he sees Morik attacking Erickson’s men. Ruhan quickly turns and attacks the on coming men, to protect Morik’s open back. They punch, kick and claw, widening the circle of men around them.

Morik and Ruhan shift into their large wolves and push their way through the fleshed-bodies. Feeling the fresh earth underneath their paws, they make a run for it.

What the hell Morik. You almost gave me a heart attack.

Don’t get distracted. They’re not that far behind us.

Ruhan's wolf briefly glances back, and catches a glimpse of wolves running after them.

How many? Morik asks.

Five. Maybe six.

Dammit.

They both push themselves harder to run faster, and making special effort to run through woody areas. -Jumping over fallen logs and taking sharp turns at every boulder.

Go east. Morik demands through the link.

What? Wh-

I’ll slow them down.

Morik!!

Before Ruhan can respond, he feels Morik cut the link. He sees Morik’s wolf stop and give a loud howl through the air before he suddenly sprints back straight towards the on-coming wolves.

Ruhan’s running slows as he contemplates what he should do.

We must go. He hears his wolf and feels him take over as he prints faster.
