Chapter 13
"Well don't just stand there! Go talk to her."
Itsuki muttered to Adam, pointing at Sarah with his head, who was walking a good distance away from them.
Adam nodded at last and turned around to run after Sarah.
"Sarah! Wait!"
But she didn't stop, until Adam finally reached up to her and grabbed her arm, forcing her to turn around and to look at him.
"What?" She said sternly.
Adam was about to talk, but that was when he realized that he had nothing to talk about at all.
"Um..." so he started awkwardly, "why did you come here?"
"Are you dumb? Or deaf?" Sarah threw him a dirty glance. "I just told you why I'm here."
"Yeah. But you could've said all those things behind the phone, couldn't you?"
"I could. But what kind of a person that would've made me?"
"So you came all the way here, just to apologize?"
"Yeah."
"Why? Did you all of a sudden realize that you don't love that bastard anymore? That you love me now instead?"
"Be careful where you're leading this conversation to, Adam! I wanted to apologize, because I knew the things I told you were all out of anger! I just wanted to be your friend!"
"Well, maybe I don't want your stupid friendship anymore! And maybe you are truly better off with your lovely Enzo!"
"Yeah! I think I am–"
But her words were cut off by an extremely loud music.
The two turned around, just to see Itsuki on the lake house's large lawn mower. He was playing Smoke Weed Everyday, singing with it as he was driving it fast like a lunatic.
"And maybe you're truly better off with those idiots." Said Sarah
By that, she left the place this time for good, but seeing as Adam was too busy laughing at his idiot friend, he completely forgot about her and so he let her go.
"My princess! Hop on my humble horse!" Itsuki called out dramatically to Irene as he stopped by where she stood.
Irene let out a laugh before bowing down, "It would be a pleasure, my lord."
By that, she went on the lawn mower and sat behind Itsuki, both looking like maniac children; and Adam couldn't help himself but to laugh at those two idiots.

"I can't believe she said that." Said Itsuki as him and and Adam walked through the campus after their class.
"Tell me about it." Adam sighed. "How can someone be so naïve! She came to apologize that she loved someone else all those time when she was dating me! And she wanted to be friends!? I don't think so."
"But she did have a nice ass."
"Dude!" Adam snapped, hitting Itsuki with his elbow.
"What!? Oh, you know it's true. But never mind that! Stick to Irene, mate. She's something."
"True– Oh, that reminds me!" Adam then took off his backpack from his shoulder and fished into it, taking out two CDs. "Irene helped me write Professor Dixon's essay. For both of us."
"You're fucking kidding me!" Itsuki's eyes widened in surprise and his lips in happiness. "I bet Professor Dicky would become happy with these." He said, taking the CD from Adam and admiring it before giving it back to him. "Anyway, cigarette?"
He offered, taking a pack out of his pocket.
"You know I don't smoke."
Itsuki shrugged, "Your loss." And they started walking again. "By the way, heard about the Masquerade Ball?" He said, exhaling the smoke.
"Yeah."
"Are you asking Irene?"
"I dunno–"
"–What!? Oh, c'mon, mate! Why not?"
"She's beautiful and all... But there's something off about her."
"And weren't you the one who said mystery women are hot?"
"Yeah–"
"–Then why are you hesitating on asking her?"
"Who are you brining, then?" Adam changed the subject.
"As if you have to ask." Itsuki scoffed. "Angelina, of course."
"Oh, come on!" Adam rolled his eyes.
"What!? She loves me– speaking of the devil! Look! There she is!" He pointed at a group of chatting girls, walking out of the ladies' bathroom. "What's with girls and going to restroom in packs?" he sighed in confusion and shook his head. "That shall be the last mystery on earth to be solved- Oh, god! She's coming this way!"
"You're dead." Adam said flatly.
"What!? She loves me."
"Yeah... Sure. If you say so."
"Seriously! She does!" He then cleared her throat, "Watch, and learn." So, rolling his sleeves up, he started walking over the group of girls.
"Oi, Angeline!!"
"This ain't going to end well." Adam muttered to himself.
