Chapter 64 They Are Not Your Children
The folder prominently displayed Cynthia’s name.
Colton’s steps came to a halt. His gaze swept over the documents, and he picked up the file without further ado.
He swiftly skimmed through the contents of the folder, his expression growing increasingly somber.
After thoroughly reading through all the content in the documents, Colton forcefully tossed them onto the desk.
The butler was just about to bring Colton some coffee and snacks when he saw Colton storming down in a fit of anger.
“What happened?” the butler hurriedly asked.
Colton didn’t say much. He just asked coldly. “Which hospital is Grandpa in now?”
After receiving the address from the butler, Colton wasted no time and drove straight to the hospital.
When Colton arrived at the VIP ward, Phillip had just finished his check–up. Phillip was somewhat surprised to see Colton arrive. “What brings you here?”
“Did you investigate Cynthia?” Colton bluntly asked while looking at Phillip.
He hadn’t expected that Phillip, while righteously advising him not to investigate Cynthia, was himself secretly looking into her.
Obtaining information about the Shelley family was notoriously difficult, but somehow, Phillip managed to gather a complete set of it.
A flicker of unease crossed Phillip’s face. “Have you been in my study?”
Colton did not respond, his gaze fixed intently on Phillip. “What’s with the information. stating that there are no relatives with the surname Shelley?”
The information was clearly written in the document that Lukas and Luna’s biological father had passed away ten years ago.
Therefore, how could a person who died a decade ago have fathered Lukas and Luna, who were only three years old?
“You don’t need to concern yourself with this matter anymore. I’ve confirmed that the

children aren’t yours. Phillip averted his gaze, refusing to meet Colton’s eyes.
Having spent so many years with Phillip, how could Colton not see through his guilt?
Colton said coldly, “You’re even intending to hide this matter from me? This matter must be significant.”
Phillip thought about Cynthia and Yoel, suspecting that their relationship was progressing. He realized that there was no point in keeping secrets from Colton, so he said, “Those two children are not yours. They are the children of the Zabielski family.”
“The Zabielski family?” Colton’s first reaction was disbelief. “How long have Yoel and Cynthia known each other? How could they possibly have children together?” Moreover, back then, Cynthia was so deeply in love with me, so how could she possibly have had children with Yoel so quickly?
Left with no other choice, Phillip relayed to Colton the story that Cynthia and Yoel had told
him.
The expression on Colton’s face grew increasingly somber.
Even if Cynthia treated him with cold indifference when they met again five years later, Colton had never felt such a profound sense of reality. The Cynthia, who had once loved him dearly, truly didn’t love him anymore. She had completely slipped out of his control.
A surge of indescribable anger filled Colton’s chest, especially when he thought about his past suspicions toward the child. It felt as if a resounding slap had been harshly delivered across
his face.
“I got it,” Colton said, rising to his feet with an impassive expression. The chill aura surrounding him made Phillip sigh involuntarily.
“Back when Fran was wholeheartedly devoted to you, all you had in your heart was Elsa. Now, she has given birth to the Zabielski family’s children while you’re about to get engaged. It seems everyone has received a suitable arrangement.”
A suitable arrangement? Colton swiftly rose to his feet, striding purposefully toward the exit.
Phillip called out to Colton, “Where are you off to?”
“I suddenly remember there are still some matters to handle at the company,” Colton calmly replied.
After scrutinizing Colton’s expression, Phillip found no signs of deceit. He reluctantly waved him off with a sigh. “You may go.”
Colton
gave a slight nod, then turned and left the ward.

After getting into the car, Colton instructed Timothy impassively, “Go to Fashn Group.”
Meanwhile, inside Faslin Group’s conference room, Cynthia was looking at a group of senior executives in front of her with a half smile. “I expect an explanation from you all for this month’s financial report,” she said, her gaze sweeping over the few people before her with an indifferent air. She scoffed. “The holiday resort project is about to be signed, and yet you present me with this. Are you so eager to sabotage our collaboration with Zeller Group?”
