Apart from sleeping and eating he worked in the company day and night.
He even asked Valentin to fetch Anika's belongings left in Trent's house.
Valentin felt that Joshua had changed.
Ever since he came back, he talked less and looked to be disconnected from the outside

Valentin couldn't help asking Payton, "What happened to Joshua?"

"Valentin,do you think Mr.Conan fell in love with Anika?"

The investigator sent some of the photos taken by bystanders he found in the hospital to

Valentin took a look at them on the phone. The photos were blurry but he recognized the people in blood at first glance!
It was Anika.
It was really her!
Valentin clenched the phone harder, his finger turning white
The scenes of him bullying Anika surfaced in his mind.
They met for the second time after Anika became Joshua's fiancee.
Anika looked at him with great excitement. "It's you?"
Valentin thought that she was deliberately flattering him and pretending to know him.
