Dear Ex-Wife Back My Son (Anika and Joshua)

Chapter Dear 144

Chapter 144

The next morning, after Anika woke up, she went to the kitchen and saw Joshua.

Joshua was wearing a light-colored shirt, and gray pants, and had an apron tied around his waist. He was cooking oatmeal Anika felt very surprised. She had never seen Joshua cook.

She had only heard Violet say that Joshua could cook, and he had even cooked for Violet himself.

Joshua heard Anika's footsteps and looked up at her.

"Are you awake?I cooked oatmeal for you,"he said as he served two bowls of oatmeal on the dining table. Anika didn't notice that there was a pot of failed oatmeal in the sink.

Joshua's slender and beautiful fingers were also burned.

Joshua was born into a wealthy family. He neither knew how to cook nor clean. He didn't do any household

chores, but this morning he learned how to cook oatmeal from a website.

Joshua looked at his injured finger and thought to himself, cooking isn't difficult either.

He also didn't know why he suddenly wanted to cook oatmeal for Anika. Maybe it was because he had

said something he shouldn't have done last night, and he felt somewhat guilty.

Anika came to the dining hall and saw that there was seafood in the oatmeal bowl. She stood still, without

picking up a spoon.

Joshua thought that oatmeal was not tasty. He pulled out a chair and sat down, taking a bite. The oatmeal he cooked was not extremely delicious, but it wasn't too bad either.

"If you don't like it, you don't have to eat it,"he said, and started eating oatmeal, but his eyes were fixed on

Anika.

Anika picked up a spoon and scooped a spoonful of oatmeal, muttering to herself, "This is the first time I've had seafood in my oatmeal."

Joshua did not understand what she was saying.

He said, "This oatmeal is good for your health."

Anika took a spoonful and then asked Joshua, "We have known each other for about 17 years, right?"

Joshua had already forgotten.

"Yes,nearly twenty years."

Anika slowly ate her oatmeal and whispered, "I was so silly."

Joshua couldn't hear clearly, "What did you say?"

1 was allergic to seafood."

Anika looked at him and said softly.

They had known each other for seventeen years and had been married for over three years, but he was unaware of this fact.

Joshua was shocked. He hurriedly carried her into the car and rushed to the hospital.

On the way to the hospital, he anxiously said, "Are you crazy? Why didn't you tell me?"

1 had told you before, maybe you have forgotten."

Anika did tell him indeed.

When she was still a high school student, she went to the Conan's residence for dinner once.

Joshua discovered that she hadn't eaten enough, so he secretly took her out to enjoy some delicious food.

At that time, Anika had already told him that she was allergic to seafood.

Anika remembered very clearly that Joshua said, "I have noted it down,I will never forget it in the future."

Joshua, however, couldn't remember when she had said that she couldn't eat seafood.

He only remembered that every time he came home, Anika would prepare dishes with seafood for him.

He naturally assumed that she also loved seafood.

Anika seemed to have known what Joshua was thinking and said, "I used to cook fish for you often, not because I liked it, but because you did." Joshua's heart became even more painful.

The road to the hospital seemed to have become very long.

"You didn't have to do this for me, Joshua said after a long silence.

Anika only realized everything she had done in the past and could only receive the evaluation of 'unnecessary".

She was really silly in the past.

"I know now, I will never do it again in the future."
