Crises in Love (Zora and Jaylan)

Chapter 551

Hannah said, "I've told Adela to ask the neighbor to delete the picture or it could be dangerous for him. I don't think he can keep it."

"You did the right thing, Hannah," Logan affirmed with a thumbs-up and said, "That photo on his phone was nothing but trouble, a ticking time bomb."

Hannah smirked, "Adela mentioned no one else saw it. I bet the guy took it on purpose, not some accidental shot."

Logan nodded in agreement, "With only one person in the photo, it's hardly an accident. It's clear as day it was intentional." Laughter filled the air among us.

"I made sure to give them a fair warning, better safe than sorry. After our talk, I confirm he'll delete it," Hannah said confidently.

"That's the spirit," Logan chimed in, "If the other side got their hands on that picture, it could spell danger for the woman in question. If she's just laying low or switched hideouts, this could blow her cover wide open. And with a kid in the mix, if they find her, the baby will be in danger."

Logan's words sent a shiver down my spine, and I muttered worriedly, "We need to find them before they do. I can't risk my son's safety."

"Don't worry, and we're all on it," Logan reassured me, and I knew we meant a whole network of people.

Turning to me, Hannah said, "I've listed that villa for an urgent sale. I was going to tidy it up, but then Jaylan showed up there last night, so I left it as is. I'm gonna clean his clock tonight."

Her fists clenched, ready for action. There was a palpable hatred for that scoundrel Jaylan.

"Can you check who owns the Dawson property? See if Farley is still residing there," I requested.

Hannah eyed me curiously, "What are you implying?"

"It's high time he gets evicted to not get too comfy. Since he had the nerve to trash my place, it's only fair I return the favor and make every Dawson homeless." I said fiercely, "I was willing to show some mercy but he's not making it easy."

"What if the property is in Farley's or Hazel's name?" she probed.

"Then find an excuse to kick him out. He loves dancing with women, right? Let's find him a dance partner he can't refuse," I retorted, feeling a wave of cunning wash over me.

Hannah grinned devilishly, showing off her pearly whites, while Logan gave me an approving look.

"I've got a temper too. It's time they learn not to mess with me," I declared.

"Rightly so. That family deserves no pity."

"Allie, leave it to me. You just watch," she said confidently.

I turned to Logan, "Jessica's verdict should be in by now, right?"

Logan glanced toward the restaurant where Ronan was on the phone before whispering, "Relax. She's not getting out anytime soon. Thirty million dollars is no small change. She has to pay it back, plus fines. If she can't, it's forced liquidation. Their assets are as good as gone."

I nodded. They should not mess with the law and get away with it.

"Jessica's husband is no angel either. Last time he tried to flee with the funds, Jesper intercepted him, took the money, and left him crippled. Jesper made a tidy profit," Logan chuckled.

"All the property confiscation, he is hating the Dawson family." Logan went into a grouch and leaned back into the couch to find the most comfortable position, "But he got what he deserved."

Hannah snorted, "He skimmed enough off Medsafe Liyah Inc., where his wife worked in finance. Swindled others with promises of jobs, only to take their money. Breaking his legs was a mercy, though it lined Jesper's pockets well."

I said coldly, "Then Jesper's next. He's crafty. If he dares stir trouble in Silverdale City, he'll have me to answer to. I'll make sure it's a one-way ticket for him."
