Chapter She wants me to find his mother
Chapter 71
"You sure you hate him or maybe you love him but you do not want to admit what you feel" The voice spoke calmly and Hannah turned only to see Jessica standing by the door with a smile on her face. "Oh my goodness, did I say that aloud?" she thought as Jessica walked fully inside the room.
Hannah wondered what she was doing in her room. This was the first time Jessica was entering her room and smiling at her, she wondered what happened all of a sudden.
Jessica stared at Hannah and noticed what was going through her mind. The looks Hannah was giving her said it all. She smiled and sat close to her on the bed.
"I don't think my brother was lying about calling that woman over to embarrass you. I know Brandon is a complete asshole but there are things he wouldn't do" Jessica said and Hannah turned to her at once. "Have you been eavesdropping on our conversation since?" Hannah asked and Jessica nodded in response and Hannah clicked her tongue.
"Shit!! Now she knows the marriage is a contract marriage and Brandon never wanted any of his family to find out about it" Hannah thought and then sighed softly with a look of disappointment on her face. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to eavesdrop," Jessica said and Hannah nodded.
"Well, now you know it's a contract marriage," Hannah said and Jessica smiled.
"I knew before now that it was a contract marriage," Jessica said and Hannah raised her eyebrows wondering how she knew about it.
"Well, it was one fateful morning, I had gone to Brandon's study room, I needed to talk to him about something urgent but on getting there, I found out he wasn't in his study room.
I decided to leave when I suddenly saw a picture of you on Brandon's table. Out of curiosity, I decided to check out the picture but then I noticed it was on a file on his table.
I took the file and opened it, it was the contract agreement between the both of you. It was there I knew" Jessica said and Hannah stared at her speechlessly.
"It's fine, Grandma doesn't know. It's just me" Jessica said and Hannah gave out a breath of relief.
"You know I noticed you might not be as bad as grandma paints you to be. I wonder why she detests you so much. Well, even though I didn't believe I would say this to you but I think I like you. It's the truth" Jessica said and Hannah smiled at her without saying a word.
"And I know my brother likes you too even though he doesn't want to admit it. He's stubborn. I see the way he looks at you and how he acts around you. The last time I saw him look at someone that way was a long time ago," Jessica said and sighed softly.
"It was his-fiancé, it was a tragic story. He had to call off their wedding" Jessica said and sighed sadly.
"You do not have to talk about it if you do not feel comfortable," Hannah said and Jessica smiled at her. She decided to change the subject of the conversation. "Did you know that bitch Rhoda? Damn! I despise her a lot. I wonder how my brother knew her" Jessica said and Hannah laughed without saying a word.
She knows Jessica wants to say something but she's finding it hard to say it, and using other words to cover up, she wonders what she wants to say. Just then Jessica stood up and smiled at Hannah.
"You should fix things with my brother and do not let this marriage cut off. I see a contract marriage becoming a real one" Jessica said and with that she walked out of the room, locking the door behind her, she sighed softly. She knows Brandon went into the contract marriage because he needed to find their mom but he doesn't know the truth.
Grandma Elizabeth never told him the truth, their mom was dead. Tears gathered in her eyes. She quickly wiped them and walked back to her room.
Meanwhile, Hannah sighed immediately after Jessica left. She wondered what she meant by seeing a contract marriage becoming a real one.
Never! Not between her and that asshole Brandon, she thought. She needed to help Brandon find his mom too if she wants the marriage to end soon. She then brought out her phone and dialed Micheal's number. It rang twice and then Micheal answered the phone call.
"Hello ma'am"
"Hi, Michael. I need your help in finding someone" Hannah said and Micheal wondered who.
"Who ma'am?" Micheal asked
"Brandon's mom. Her name is Camilla Colby Montez" Hannah said and Micheal nodded in response and with that, he ended the call.
Hannah sighed softly and dropped her phone on the bed. She needed to find Brandon's mom, maybe she would be the answer to The Colby having a happy family again but on second thought, she wondered if she was still Alive. Meanwhile, immediately Micheal ended the call, he called Mrs. Arianna Mackenzie. Arianna had told her that if Hannah asked him about anything he should tell her about it.

Immediately, Arianna answered the phone call.
"Micheal," Arianna said as she answered the phone call.
"Ma'am, your daughter called me and asked me to help her find someone," Micheal said and Arianna wondered who.
"Who did she ask you to find?" Arianna asked.
"I think a woman who goes by the name Camilla Colby Montez, Brandon's mom," Micheal said and immediately Arianna went dead silent for some minutes. She felt a cold shiver run down her spine and her phone almost fell from her hand. "Ma'am, are you there? Should I go on with the search or abort the mission?" Micheal asked, jolting Arianna out of her deep thoughts.
"Do not go on with the search " Ariana' said
"What do I tell her then?" Micheal asked
"I don't know, just tell her anything. Tell her she's dead, just tell her anything that would make her stop trying to find her" Arianna said and with that, she ended the call. Micheal wondered what was wrong with her and why she sounded weird when he mentioned the name, Camilla Colby Montez.
He quickly shook off the thoughts. He then decided to wait for probably a day before telling Hannah the person she asked him to find is dead, so she wouldn't suspect a thing. TBC
