Chapter 1365
The next morning, after Rosalie and Justin woke up, they noticed Theodore was nowhere to be found. Not knowing where he had gone, Rosalie asked the butler and learned that he had left early in the morning. Rosalie knew Theodore was avoiding them, but she didn't press the issue.
She still had to go to work. After having breakfast with Justin, she bid farewell to Steve.
"Dear, even though Mommy can't live with you anymore, I'll come to see you often. Your daddy will take good care of you, and in three months, you'll come live with Mommy."
Rosalie held Steve, tears streaming down her face. She simply couldn't bear to leave. She kissed his cheek and held him tightly.
"I'm sorry, Steve. I'm really sorry."
Steve looked at his mother with confusion, seemingly unaware of what was happening, but he raised his little hand to wipe away the tears from her face.
"Mama, no cry," Steve said, his words still unclear, but he knew exactly what he was doing and saying. Rosalie was heartbroken. She grasped Steve's hand and said, "Mommy has to go to work."
Rosalie handed the child to the butler. Before leaving, she said, "When Theodore returns, please tell him that if Steve falls ill, he must call me immediately. Also, remind Theodore to take care of himself. I'll come and see Steve often.
The butler nodded. "Understood. I will pass the message to him."
Rosalie took one last look at Steve, then held Justin's hand and left.
Justin drove Rosalie to her office.
"Justin, you should go back now. Be sure to wait for me at home. I'll come back as soon as I get off work. Don't go out without telling me. If you need to go anywhere, call me first."
Justin gently stroked her hair. "I will. I'll come pick you up after work."

Rosalie kissed Justin on the cheek. "Then I'll head in now. Drive safe."
Justin nodded, lightly caressing Rosalie's face, his eyes full of affection.
After Rosalie got out of the car, she watched Justin drive away before walking into the building.
Justin returned to the apartment where Rosalie had been living before. The place had been vacant for a while, so it smelled musty when he entered.
He immediately opened all the
windows to air out the place, then rolled up his sleeves and cleaned the entire apartment, inside and out. He also changed the locks and removed the ad surveillance cameras
The fridge was empty, so he went out again and bought a lot of groceries to fill it. He also bought some plants to place on the table to add some life to the space.
By the time he finished everything, it was already noon. Justin quickly made himself a bowl of spaghetti and sat in front of the TV. Suddenly, he felt that life was quite pleasant.

He thought maybe he should just stay home and be a househusband, focusing on taking care of Rosalie, When she came back from work, he could give her foot massages, cook for her, provide emotional support, and take care of her daily needs.
He would be willing to do this for Rosalie.
As he thought about how his upcoming life would be so different from his past, he suddenly felt disoriented, as if everything was a dream.
What if he woke up from this dream?
Justin let out a deep breath. He lay down on the couch and stared at the ceiling, lost in thought. "God, if this is really a dream, don't let me wake up. Let me live in this dream forever."
