Chased by the Alpha Who Rejected Me by Stevanyla

Chapter 6

Chapter 6

I can’t sleep well. Several times, I woke up because the mosquitoes were biting me.

If giving blood to mosquitoes could make me skinny, I wouldn’t kill them.

I’m tired of hunting mosquitoes. I only managed to kill a few mosquitoes. My b*dy was sick from my slap when I was hitting the mosquitos, sucking my blood.

My wolf was laughing, watching me struggle with the mosquitos.

Mosquitoes were the main culprits, and the straw mattress was the second suspect. I couldn’t close my eyes for more than half an hour.

Even though those straws were piled up and made into a mattress, my whole b*dy ached. I did not find a comfortable sleeping position.

How could Alpha King sleep on the straw with dozens of mosquitoes biting his b*dy for one week?

I bet he can’t sleep like me.

There was no light inside the cave that Alpha King had turned into a bedroom. We could see in the dark, but being in the darkness was scary, and negative thoughts ran through my mind.

I observed Alpha King sitting on a wooden before the bonfire. I didn’t know he was sleeping or daydreaming. I could only see his back.

No light entered the cave, so maybe it was still nightfall.

I lowered my head, and my heart was pounding fast. He is a man and a Lycan. We, werewolves, are forbidden from interacting with the Lycan and rogue clans.

Even though no one saw me with him, his aroma already lingered on me.

A sigh escaped my mouth. My phone wasn’t in my pocket, it was in my backpack, and it probably broke because everything in my bag was wet.

My shirt and pants were dry.

I hope my bag, clothes, and shoes will dry with the help of the fire.

“Are you up already?”

I was surprised to hear his baritone voice. I rubbed my chest; my heart almost moved to my stomach.

“I’m awake.” I came out from hiding and approached him, who suddenly stood up.

“Did you sleep well? Tell me the truth.” Alpha King looked out of the cave,

“No. A mosquito bit me, and straw isn’t like a mattress.” I checked my bag, clothes, and shoes. I smiled with relief; they were dry. But my phone didn’t turn on; I don’t know if my phone is broken or the battery is low.

“You’ll get used to it after three days of sleeping there,” Alpha King said.

“I’m going to go find a rogue group.” I said.

Alpha King nodded his head, then he asked me to wait, and he exited the cave. My eyes widened when Alpha King returned with a wild boar in his arms.

He pulled four wild boar legs and gave two to me. I took it with bewilderment.

Alpha King pointed the two boar legs he was holding onto the bonfire. “Eat before you

go.”

I fixed my gaze on the vast boar legs in my palm. I always consume skinless meat.

I almost got carried away with the wild boar leg meat. During this month, I was on a diet; I only ate breast meat and chicken thighs. I have lost 2.2 pounds.

“Don’t you like it?” Alpha King asked without looking at me, his blue eyes focused on the meat he was grilling. “I only found wild boars. Have your wolf ever hunted?”

“I can’t switch bodies with my wolf because of my weight.” I gulped. The smell of Alpha. King’s wild boar roast awakens my hunger.

I wouldn’t be tempted. I have to remember why I went on a diet.

“I can’t make seasoning. I think eating meat without seasoning is better.” Alpha King ate his meat deliciously.

I’m drooling.

“Eat if you don’t want to pass out.” Alpha King said firmly, and his eyes stared at me intently.

I shuddered. I forgot about diets. After this, I will walk around the world to burn. calories. “Thank you very much for the meat. I’m sorry for bothering you.”

“No problem,” said Alpha King.

The wild boar flesh was excellent. I had eaten the two boar legs unknowingly, and my tummy was complete, “You’re correct. It’s fantastic even without the seasoning.”

1 rushed to wear my sneakers and grabbed my bag. Alpha King stared at me intensely. I blushed.

“Thank you so much for saving me twice, allowing me to warm myself, drying my bag, clothes, and sho

with the bonfire, and sleeping in this cave. You also provided me with wild boar meat.” I said sincerely. “I will never, ever forget you.”

“No problem, I like to help and share food,” said Alpha King. “Where are you going?”

“I will look for a group of rogues who will accept me.”

Alpha King stood up and put out the bonfire with water he took from a well; I don’t know where he got the black bucket.

“Come with me.

“What?”

Alpha King let out a long breath through his mouth and looked at me. “Become a member of my pack. My kingdom accepts werewolves and rogues. Don’t worry; we don’t discriminate; we just want to help.”

He looked out of the cave before looking back at me. “My kingdom is about one kilometer from this forest, and there are no rogue groups near this forest because this forest is close to the Lycan clan.”

I’m completely perplexed. My wolf and I pondered whether or not to go with that Alpha King. Can we believe him?

If he’s a criminal and sold me to a forbidden forest nightclub, I won’t be able to revolt because I can’t switch bodies with my wolf, and I can’t flee swiftly.

“Oh, I forgot.” Alpha King extended his hand to me. I’m Raziel Ransom, Alpha King of the Wilmar Kingdom. The werewolves call it the Wilmar Pack.”

Hesitantly, I shook his hand. “I’m Karalyn Stewart. I was a werewolf from the Gray Sea

Pack.

“You’ve walked five kilometers.” Raziel whistled.

I can’t believe I walked that far, and strangely, I don’t feel tired.

The Wilmar Kingdom is extraordinarily majestic, and Alpha King Raziel is right; he has many members from werewolves and rogues. They don’t turn into Lycans because becoming Lycans is more complicated, and Alpha Raziel doesn’t force his members to turn into Lycans.

My wolf and I decided to believe in Alpha King Raziel; he has greatly helped me. I want

to return the favor to him.

Besides, I’m unsure which direction to take to find the rogue group’s forests. My phone is off, and I’m afraid to enter the forbidden forest because there are no markers; they purposely trap people to spend their time and money there.

If I go i

inside the forbidden forest, they’ll probably make me work as a waitress in the nightclub, and I won’t be able to leave.

When King Raziel and I arrived, Raziel’s mother, Beta, Ga mma, the doctors, generals, and all the warriors flocked to their king to ensure Raziel was healthy and not. malnourished.

King Raziel ran away because he wanted to experience life in the forest. He is free to do whatever he wants, and no one is stopping him or helping him.

Raziel’s mother, Gigi, is so kind and welcoming. She received me with open arms. She ignored my appearance and didn’t look down on me because my b*dy differed from

other women’s.

I’ve been in the Wilmar Kingdom for three days. I worked at Gigi’s flower shop. The customers didn’t look at me strangely and didn’t make fun of me.

“Are you comfortable living in my kingdom?” asked Alpha King. He always came to his mother’s flower shop during the day for lunch.

“Yeah. I’m comfortable. Everyone’s nice to me.” I placed plates and glasses on the table. It is my side job; Gigi asked me to serve Raziel lunch. I merely help with the dishes. while Gigi cooks.

. “I’m pleased to hear that.” Raziel sipped his glass of water, so I refilled it. “I’m looking for

a secretary. Would you like to work with me? And I’ve found someone who can hel you lose weight.”

Alpha King Raziel kept his promise. He found me a better job than working in his mother’s flower shop and found someone who could help me achieve my dream of being slim.

Wait a moment.

I became Alpha King’s secretary!

Can I have that job? I am a werewolf who no longer has a pack.
