The still water soon had ripples in it as I threw a pebble.
The pain was flaring my skin and the water soon started to bubble.
I felt tears roll down my cheeks for the sound of silence was deafening
The silence making me want to scream and I hoped I was dreaming
No path to guide me,
No stars to follow.
The only sound of me crying,
And my heart felt hollow
The cuts and bruises were too much to bear
The world around me was spinning
And the streaks of dirt in my hair.
And the light never dimming
The light so bright,
It felt like there were gazillion fires
I thought I might go blind
For I wasn’t lying-
I wasn’t a liar.
Then, the blackout came out of nowhere
Engulfing me like a tunnel of darkness,
Wrapping me like a blanket
I was so scared,
That even if the rocks left scars and scratches on my arms
I acted as though I didn’t care
When I was about to kick and thrash,
I suddenly stopped.
For the sight I was seeing made me gasp
