Can't Win Me Back (Isabella and Nathan)

Chapter 84

Theo saw Victoria and chuckled silently.

"I thought the designer hired by the prince was someone important. Turns out it was your beloved girl." A sarcastic remark, but it exposed Nathan's favoritism and foolishness.

This is precisely what Master Sanchez detested the most.

Victoria eagerly handed her design work to Master Sanchez.

"Master Sanchez, please review."

Master Sanchez calmly placed the teacup on the coffee table and took Victoria's album, opening it to the first page.

Mr. Sanchez was annoyed when he saw the consistent design concept and traditional expression throughout the passage. He quickly skimmed through it in a casual manner. Soon, he reached the end. His impatient expression on his face clearly expressed his dissatisfaction with the proposal.

Victoria and Nathan looked at each other, their faces mirroring the same confusion: they simply couldn't believe that Victoria's plan was inferior to Isabella's.

The slow-witted Guillermo eagerly asked, "Grandpa, how was it? Was it better than what Isabella did?" Master Sanchez let out a muffled grunt from his nose, "Hmph." Then he casually threw the album onto the coffee table.

A look that wasted my time.

Victoria's face instantly fell, and she unwillingly asked, "If Master Sanchez thinks my plan is not good, could he give me some constructive feedback?"

She felt that the Mr. Sanchez deliberately favored Isabella, so she asked him to evaluate the plan, believing that he would definitely reveal clues when discussing the plan.

Little did she know, he pointed out her shortcomings without any hesitation, "Your plan is too ordinary. It lacks the grandeur that everyone expects, and there is room for improvement in every aspect."

Nathan, on the other hand, remained calm. "Victoria is still young, and she truly cannot bear the praise from everyone at the moment. However, her plans are indeed superior compared to her peers." When he mentioned her peers, he deliberately glanced at Isabella.

"Presumably, Isabella's plan was also not flawless. However, different strokes for different folks. If Uncle favors Isabella's plan, I naturally have nothing to say. But I firmly believe that her plan is still not as good as Victoria's."

As soon as these words were spoken, Victoria immediately became cocky.

Master Sanchez looked puzzled and said, "Isabella?"

Nathan awkwardly corrected, "Isabella is actually this lady, Thea."

Master Sanchez, however, smiled knowingly, "Ms. Thea's plan has transcended her age constraints. She is like an experienced old artist who can master all levels of style. It is well deserved to say that she is everyone."

Nathan was shocked on the spot.

He stared at Thea in disbelief.

Thea, however, remained unperturbed and dealt with it calmly.

"That's impossible... Isabella, did you plagiarize someone else's plan?" Victoria stammered.

Theo coldly stared at her, "Is it because you are not as skilled as others that you have to slander them?

Ms. Moore, your narrow-mindedness is truly astonishing. It's no wonder your designs have not made any progress when you spend your energy being jealous of those who are better than you."

Theo cherished Thea's collection of artwork and tucked it into his arms, then bid farewell to Master Sanchez, saying, "Grandfather, Nian Nian and I have a date, so I won't disturb you."

Master Sanchez smiled at the corner of his eye and said, "Go."

Theo pulled Thea out of the hall quickly, but little did they expect that Nathan followed them.

"Isabella," he said, his long legs allowing him to catch up with Thea in just a few steps, blocking her path.

"I have something to tell you," Nathan said arrogantly.

Theo shielded Thea behind him, his noble face turning icy cold. "Prince, are you ignoring my existence by pestering my girlfriend like this?"

Nathan angrily said, "Theo, she was my wife..."

"It was just my ex-wife," Thea corrected him.

Nathan laughed and said, "So you finally admit that you are Isabella?"

Thea said to Theo, "Theodore, I happened to have a few things I wanted to say to him as well."

Theo then stood further away with a gloomy face.

Nathan and Thea stood face to face, with Nathan's face looking unpleasant and his tone unfriendly, he questioned Thea, "Isabella, why did you go against me?"

Thea was extremely angry and laughed sarcastically, "In the business world, it's every man for himself. If the prince lacks skills and gets angry at me, where is his grace?"

Nathan's tone softened as he said, "Bella, this project is very important to me. If you give it to me, I will give you some money. How about that?"

Thea tapped her ear, thinking she had misheard.

"Does the prince want to spend money to buy out my project, is that what it means?"

Nathan's face looked a bit embarrassed, as he only wanted to spend a little money to get rid of Isabella, but he didn't expect an equivalent exchange.

"So, would the prince set a price?"

Nathan's lips moved, and finally he uttered a number, "One hundred thousand."

Thea laughed so hard that she flipped over.

"Prince, did you send away the beggar?"

She laughed until tears came out.

Nathan said, "Isabella, a hundred thousand is not a small amount for you. If Master Sanchez praises you, you won't be lost anymore. Your work cannot be better than Victoria's."

Thea reminded him, "Nathan, do you want me to remind you that Victoria was my subordinate and a loser at the Milan Fashion Competition? For so many years, she has only been busy having an affair with you. Hasn't she already neglected her studies long ago?"

"But I am different. Over the past few years, I have diligently studied and my achievements are far beyond what someone like Victoria can compare to. If you put her name and mine together, it would be an insult to me."

Nathan woke up as if from a dream.

Yes. In the Milan fashion competition, Isabella won against Victoria. How could he forget about this? So his recent questioning of Master Sanchez's favoritism towards Isabella was such an immature behavior.

Master Sanchez's judgment of Isabella and Victoria was vastly different, which caused a strong sense of unease to well up inside him.

Nathan looked at Isabella in disbelief and said, "I underestimated you."

He was flexible and immediately put on a serious face, saying, "Isabella, name your price, I am willing to pay a high price to buy your work."

Thea placed her finger on her fiery

red lips and said, "Nathan, you couldn't afford my artwork. And also,

don't call me Isabella anymore. The day we got divorced, Isabella died."

"From then on, there was no more naive and innocent Isabella in this world, only Thea who lived for herself."

Nathan inexplicably became irritable. "Isabella, what difference does it make if you changed your name? It still can't erase our past."

Thea saw that he was stubborn and unyielding, so she went straight up to him and ruthlessly stomped her high heels on his feet.

Then, she turned around and gracefully walked away.

Nathan held his foot, his face turning pale from the pain.

Victoria chased after and witnessed the scene of Nathan being bullied. She angrily ran up and pulled

Thea to stand up for Nathan.

"Bella, how could you hit Nathan?"

"You didn't feel sorry for him, I felt sorry for him. You must apologize to him."

"You were sick!" Thea exclaimed, and Victoria fell to the ground.

Nathan ran over and helped Victoria up. He raised his fist, about to teach Thea a lesson.
