Chapter 1
Kelly POV
All I could think about was to run. I have been running for two or three days now, only stopping when I had too. Due to the fact that I'm afraid if I do stop that he might find me and take me back to the place I once called home. You might be wondering why I am running in the first place? Well, I'm a werewolf and my wolf, Snow, has a very rare coat. She is a Black Tailed-White Wolf, meaning she is all white with a solid black tail. Honestly it looks like you took a tail off a black wolf and stitched to a white wolf. We also have baby blue eyes that we share in wolf form and human form.
In my human form, I have long brown hair and tan skin like all werewolves in their human form. I am about 5'5" when it comes to the human side of me. My wolf is smaller than average female werewolf due to that fact that we shifted earlier than everyone else does at the age of 16 years. That's actually how we escape from him in the first place. We are currently running from our former alpha. Alpha Jack is his name. He can make some of the bravest warriors run scared of him. He was keeping us in the dungeons with another wolf. I have been down there since I was 9 years old. That's actually the age of my first shift because he killed my parents in front of me and took me back with him. He threw me in there and said that I was to be his when the time came. I didn't know what he meant when he said that, and I still don't. I am now 17 years old and on the run. I got out of a hole an older wolf was digging out. He told me to go first due the fact that I was younger. Once I was out, he told me to run, I did as he said and ran for what now is 3 days, I think. I stopped for some water at a huge lake trying to catch my breath when I heard something behind me. We pointed our wolf ears forward to enhance our hearing. We hear another wolf closing the distance between us, Snow yells "RUN!! It's them." I jumped into the lake and started to swim to the other side hoping that we would cross into some other packs boarder, hoping they will help me. When we got to the other side, we were met with a huge burnt orange colored wolf. He was about three feet taller than me. I did the only thing that ran through my mind, I submitted to the wolf in front of me.
