Suddenly, Greedy Wolf's eyes narrowed and he let out a creepy laugh. "I see someone I know." These were such hair raising
words.
Jiang Ning looked in the same direction and saw that the one right at the front of the numerous people before them had no
expression on his face, but his empty looking eyes were looking at Greedy Wolf. It was as if he was also wondering if they knew
each other.
"He's someone from my era, and was also a highly skilled fighter. He was a low profile man to begin with, and one day he just
disappeared. So he actually found this passageway, but ended up dying here. What a pity."
Greedy Wolf didn't sound sympathetic at all.
He had no regard for anyone else but himself. Nobody's death was a loss to him.
"Stop reminiscing and tell me what's going on with these people." Jiang Ning didn't want to listen to Greedy Wolf say all these
useless things. These undead people were getting closer to them, and he didn't think any of them were here to have a chat
about the past with Greedy Wolf.
"They've all been infected with the air of death, and their souls have been sucked out, so they're nothing but zombies now.

He burst open as easily as a piece of paper. The insides of his body were all dry.

Once the fight started, the rest of the undead suddenly started moving faster than before and headed straight for Greedy Wolf
and Jiang Ning. There were so many of them, just the sight of them could make one's hair stand on end.
Jiang Ning didn't hesitate and started fighting them. Each punch sent one zombie flying.

The violent impact of his punches were so ferocious, it was even more explosive than Greedy Wolf's.

The undead were no match for the two of them, so it didn't take much for them to wipe out the entire group in front of them. Dried
up bodies were strewn all over.
But more and more of them were coming out from the forest. There were at least a hundred of them coming over!
"Exactly how many people have tried looking for this Longevity Pond?!" yelled Jiang Ning.
"I don't know!" Greedy Wolf had no answer for Jiang Ning. He was rather surprised himself.
It only went to show how long the Longevity Pond had existed for. Perhaps there were already people searching for it before
Greedy Wolf's time.

Jiang Ning swung his fists hard and caused a man in armor to explode instantly.
Even his armor was shattered.

The metal pieces from his armor went back at least a few centuries.
"There are more and more of them!" Greedy Wolf became a little excited. "But if we don't leave this place soon, we'll end up just
like them!"
He narrowed his eyes and looked into the distant forest. His expression fell when he saw a gray mist slowly wafting out.
If his guess was right, these people lost their souls and became the undead because they had come into contact with that mist.
"Hurry!" shouted Greedy Wolf. "If that mist hits us, we're doomed!"
A wary look appeared on his face and he didn't dare to linger either.
Jiang Ning looked up to see that Greedy Wolf had increased his speed of movement and was extremely agile. He minimized
contact with the undead and weaseled his way through the crowd. He had such incredible eyesight.
He glanced at Greedy Wolf and noticed that his eyes seemed somewhat different from before, but they returned to normal the
next second. Jiang Ning didn't say anything and just took note of this. He followed Greedy Wolf closely to pass through all the
undead and leave this area.
The number of undead people kept increasing, and they could even hear the sound of their teeth grinding. It was so terrifying!
