Chapter 1265 Intense Explosion
Atlas swiftly ran toward the door with me while Cane and Dylan provided cover for us. I shouted to Atlas, "What about my dad?"
Atlas didn't respond to my question, and I couldn't help but cry uncontrollably.
Walking away like this, I felt like I might never see him again.
Atlas's face was grim, but he forcefully led me away amidst the intense gunfire and explosions, jumping into the door.
Once inside, Atlas hugged me tightly and wiped away my tears. "Don't cry. Ensure your safety so we can continue searching for him. I haven't given up, and I won't. Trust me."
I understood what Atlas meant and believed he wouldn't give up. But at that moment, my inner reluctance consumed my thoughts.
I struggled to control my emotions and tearfully looked at Atlas. "Take Anya. She's still young."
"Don't worry, they won't leave her behind."
After saying that, Atlas dragged me without hesitation into the depths of the secret passage.
The passage was narrow, allowing only two people to walk side by side. Atlas used his phone as a flashlight.
The dim passage kept vibrating, indicating the intensity of the explosions outside.
Dylan, who came in last, rushed ahead to clear the way. I kept looking back, worried about the situation outside.
The passage was shaking severely, suggesting a risk of collapse at any moment.
Atlas forcibly led me deeper into the passage, following Dylan.
As we ran, I couldn't bear to leave without Anya. "Atlas, let go of me. Anya hasn't come in yet. I have to take her out. She's still young..." "Listen to me," he interrupted, carrying me off the ground. "We've got to go!"
He didn't give me a chance to turn back.
Finally, we arrived at a door that blocked our path. There was a button on the wall, which Dylan pressed forcefully, and the door opened.
Once we stepped out of the
passage, we realized it was a fake tomb, with a large burial chamber surrounded by overgrown grass concealing the hidden stone door.

Navi was indeed cunning. He had prepared for his escape.
But he probably never expected to lose both his legs or that Anya would finish him off, fulfilling her wish for revenge for her parents.
I took a deep breath, suppressing my anxiety and reluctance.
When we were outside, the explosions continued relentlessly, deafening our ears.
"We need to leave here quickly," Atlas said to me.
"But..." I wanted to say that Anya and the others hadn't come out yet.
"We need to find a safe place to hide. We're too close to the explosions here, just in case," Dylan interjected. "Let's go."
Dylan spoke up, and I didn't have the heart to argue. After all, these people risked their lives for my father.
Though we couldn't save my father this time, I believed no one would directly harm him. After all, whichever side found him, it wasn't to kill him.
If they wanted him dead, it would have happened long ago.
I became more convinced that my father must have some secrets, sparking the interest of various parties.
However, my concern was that once
he fell into the hands of the
organization, rescuing him would become even more difficult. That was the cause of my anxiety, but I was sure Atlas was more anxious than I was.
After Dylan urged us, he turned and rushed into the dense forest ahead. Atlas carried me and followed closely behind.
Dylan settled us in a small clearing
in the forest and said, "I'll go back to support Cane for a bit. Mr. Atlas, you take care of Mrs. Chloe and stay hidden. I'll be back soon."
"Bring Anya back to me," I quickly added.
Dylan nodded solemnly and turned to head back outside.
