With disbelief in her eyes, Alicia staggered and rushed forward.

She put her hands on her hips and puffed up her belly as an act.

Alicia's words blew the crowd away and all eyes were on her belly. All of a sudden, she rushed to the front of the stage. She showed her supposed pregnant belly whenever someone tried to block her way. Every time she bumped into the crowd on purpose, the people were scared and kept out of her way.

Alicia.

When Frederick came to his senses, Alicia was already standing on the stage. Her eyes were welled up with tears as she swept her gaze across her surroundings and eventually stopped at Frederick. She muttered, "Honey, tell me, this is not true, is it?"

Frederick's face turned pale but his eyes were focused on her belly. His mind was so messed up by Alicia's words that he couldn't even utter a word for a long time.

No, how could she be pregnant?

Looking at her belly, an unpleasant look underneath Danica's flawless makeup arose instantly. "Why are you still asking? Aren't you seeing it for yourself?"

Alicia turned and glared at her with fierce eyes. "I'm talking to my husband. It's none of your business. Get out of my way!"

She flew into a rage and shouted. At the moment, everyone was shocked by her strong aura. Danica was too frightened and she didn't dare to make a sound even though her mouth was wide open. Frederick quickly sorted out his thoughts. When he met Alicia's gaze, his fists were clenched tightly again. "Leave."

"What did you just say?"

Alicia took a step forward and grabbed Frederick's arm all of a sudden and shouted,

"We're not divorced. How can you remarry? It's not true! Tell me it's not true!" Alicia kept shaking her head, feeling dizzy.

"You said that according to the rules of the elements family..."

"What does that have to do with me? I've always been the rule-maker! If I can get married without your consent, for the same reason, I can get a divorce without your consent too."

He rebuked Alicia in haste, which left Alicia in a brief daze. She gasped, "What?"

Thinking of something, Alicia argued, "What if... what if I am pregnant? Honey, even if you don't want me, don't you want our child?"

Alicia's eyes widened and she was completely shocked. "Frederick? You..." He wasn't speaking his mind, was he?

"Say it one more time, ten times!" Alicia raised her voice as they stared into each other's eyes.

Frederick stared at her.

"You have already heard it."

"I say, say it again!"

"You're not deaf!"

The two of them were at each other's throats. The crowd was confused. However, Frederick kept his promise not to repeat the words ever again. "You've already seen it. If you don't want to suffer... give up on the baby!"
