I’m starting a new log. I wanted to start it on the day we escaped. We’re about to quantum travel our way to Aynsefian as I write this. We did it! Fuck yeah! Axin is watching me type. He says I shouldn’t swear, especially in this log. Maybe he’s write. Hahahaha!! I made a pun. Ok I won’t, dear. Love you!!! Later, y’all.

So busy. So, so busy. I have only time for these short entries. I’m always so tired at night. We’re getting set up here at the lake. The lake where we all physically met for the first time. It’s hard work. The androids have been awesome. Genius move of Anathusa’s, getting them to head into Nikse before we escaped. They’ve been invaluable so far.

So… we gathered today. We thought it disrespectful to the old Aynsefian to use the same name. This is a new society, or at least it will be. We chose Sensefian as the name. I love it! We wanted it to be more “sen”sitive to everyone, in that we respect all, regardless of gender (or lack of) or race. It’s just a nice sounding name, above all. Axin says it’s “sensual” too. He says it in that voice of his that I … whoops. Sorry Log. Not the right kind of place for that talk! The only thing I dislike about this log is that you can’t freakin delete anything after you’ve written it. It’s designed to be that way. Makes it more real. I don’t mind that, but sometimes it traps me.

So, yeah. Sensefian. But, I should add: we are going to keep calling the planet Aynsefian. So that we don’t lose the name. Sensefian the civilisation, Aynsefian the planet. It’s now less confusing than it was before.

The other thing that happened today is that we finally got a detection sentinel created, so that we can bring Sinteneen69 in from guarding the cave entrance. Pintene03 built it. That android is SO useful. I never knew why it was onboard 84U. Now I couldn’t imagine doing without it. So now we have a sentinel and therefore… **** you MGC! See Axin, I’m doing better. Okay so it’s still bloody obvious what I’m trying to say.

Now any movement within kilometres of the cave triggers our FOF response plan, and we can get in Nikse and flee to Central and hide there. We found an entrance around the back of that big circular stone building, at the ground level. We tested it. There is NO way any ship will detect us in there. Oh, and in case anyone is reading this: FOF = Fight Or Flight. We’re not going to fight. We’ll flight. But it works for me as a code. Anyway, if they come, we’ll just get the hell out of our little village here and then hide there until they leave. IF they come at all.

Okay. So my last entry prompted a lil’ discussion amongst our group. Won’t they chase us, and then the game is up? They might. We’re all worried now. We need to get serious. We have our future and our freedom to defend. Back later.

So it’s done. The sentinel is militarised. Jinekali says it’s as good as anything on our… I mean, the MGC warships. Goddamn it, it’s hard to shake the feeling that I don’t work for them anymore! It’s been three weeks now. It’ll probably take months if not years to get rid of that feeling. I’m still worried, though. They haven’t landed outside yet, but I’m still worried. I wouldn’t put anything past those bastards. They’ll search every goddamn planet in both galaxies if they have to. I can’t help but be worried. Did I mention that I was worried?

So yeah, anything moves outside the cave, it’ll get blasted. The sentinel is embedded in Aynsefian rock and won’t be detectable. It’s a bloody ripper! (I learned that phrase from Cindlyss). After any approaching ship gets blasted, it won’t come back. I know MGC ships. They won’t even suspect it’s us. They’ll just label it as a hostile planet and piss off for good.

On the plus side, our first crops are starting to mature. Pintene03 did it again and modified Furtein50 so that it is now a gardener. Our crops our humming along. We’ll have additions to Nikse’s menu in no time. Neventeen70: poor thing. Has no use yet. It’s supposed to be a utility droid, but we don’t have a job for it yet. I’ll keep thinking. It can possibly do some clothes making or something, with those cottony type plants we’re growing. Or maybe it could do some food preparation for us.

Speaking of which, I think we’re gonna try to get Nikse’s food replicator out of her kitchen and out here into the settlement. Eventually. When we get more people here.

Well, actually that doesn’t make sense. If we bring people from Inconflencia, they’ll bring replicators from there with them. No need to cannibalise Nikse. I’m such a dumbass. (I learned *that* phrase from Axin). Haha!

Speaking of which (#2), we want to try a trip to Inconflencia in a few months. When we’re confident that the MGC isn’t coming here to look for us. And, that we can evade them when we leave here. Jinekali is working on modifying Nikse’s signature. He’s trying to scramble her radiation identification waves so that we can fool the MGC plant at the Barkentill stargate. Lanemu says almost for sure it’ll still be there. Jinekali’s not been successful yet. It’s not an easy task.

Anathusa is knitting. Yep, she’s bloody well knitting. I swear, she is losing her mind. I almost literally dragged her into Nikse’s medical bay the other day to make sure she has not lost it. Apparently she’s fine. Nikse said so.

She’s getting old maybe. But she’s not that old. She’s still easily of childbearing a… hey, wait a goddamn minute! Later.

Nope. She denied it. She’s not pregnant. I *just* bloody had her examined and I forgot to ask Nikse about that. I can’t in all decency drag her in there again. I’ll have to wait.

Anathusa is fucking pregnant. I know, Axin, I know. I shouldn’t swear. But she’s fucking pregnant!!! I can’t believe it. We’re going to have our first Sensefian baby! I’m so excited!!!! A page of bloody exclamation marks wouldn’t be enough. Excited!!!

Typical of Anathusa, though. As calm as ever. Gives nothing away. I wanted to know what name they have chosen but she says that can wait. She lies. She teases me. I’ll get the truth out of her somehow. Axin is delighted too. He’s given me a few looks, but I’m not ready for motherhood yet. No freakin way. Too much has happened in my life lately. I just want to chill for a bit.

Salvation, by the way, now barks at us. Pintene03 got bored, so I gave him, I mean it, a task. Salvation now woofs whenever he sees us. It’s so cute! He also wheels around all over the place and explores. He even swims in the lake. Well, only partially. He gets his wheels wet. Pintene03 plays with him. It’s so fun to watch. I love this place so much. And I get to sleep with Axin at the end of each day. Sigh.

God I feel so slack. I’ve hardly written in this lately. Big, BIG news, though. We’re going to make a run for Inconflencia. The radiation codes on Nikse are finally ready. We’ll look like a Hynetherine transport now. I am super excited! I do love this place, but I can’t wait to see Axin’s planet. He’s told me so much. He said it’s no paradise, but it’s home for him. That’s good enough for me.

Neventeen70 finally has a job! I swear that little droid looks pleased with itself now. It has made us some clothes. That includes baby clothes! I am learning to sew, too. Neventeen70 can’t do everything, so we have to do some things by hand. Nikse dug up some archival instructional pieces that showed me how to do it. I’m the best sewer ever now! Is that a word? Sewer? It seems wrong. Anyway.

Jinekali is trying his hand at cooking. He’s quite good! Did not know he was creative in that way. We’ve had a few new recipes, from scratch, and we love it that we can make things by hand. It’s pretty cool.

Axin is studying the symbology on the metal pieces. As part of that we all went back with Nikse to the auditorium in Central. He took images of all of the symbols there. It’s quite a complex language. I told him to wait for Ralieshen to come when we summon her and the rest of them, but he’s minorly offended at that. He wants to work it out himself first.

Lanemu has been quiet lately. He spends a lot of time doing not very much. Or so it seems. He’s up to something. Not sure what. Then again, it is indeed normal for his kind to be inactive and reclusive for very long periods. I’m leaving him alone. He’s happy. What he did back there all those months ago is still fresh in my mind. It was astonishing. Maybe he needs to be calm for a while and recover. That’s my sense of it.

My two favourite Purlinians are much the same. They have gone on lots of treks around and are studying the landscape around the lake. Not sure what they’re up to either. They’re just killing time, I think. They’re happy too.

Anathusa is still doing well and is really showing now. So goddamn excited! I can’t wait to see the little one!
