Upon hearing them mention Lysander, Elara cleared her throat softly. Quarry noticed her and politely greeted her. "HL Elara, you're back."
Elara touched her nose and sat down in her seat. "I just overheard you talking about Lysander's girlfriend?" she asked.
'Has my relationship with Lysander been exposed so quickly? I haven't told anyone, have I?' she wondered.
Cynthia looked at Elara with curiosity. "You know Lysander too!
They had previously gotten along quite well. Both came from Starfield City and had a bit of money, but they weren't close enough to Elara to think much of it.
Elara thought to herself, 'Oh, I know him very well. She nodded and replied. "T've heard of him."
Quarry continued, "I heard he's pretty handsome and treats his girlfriend extremely well. He even gives her a heads-up and ensures she's protected from any bullying. She's so lucky to be with such a great guy. I mean, he's from the Hawthorne family!"
Even though they all had a bit of money, the Hawthorne family was still a prestigious name they could hardly aspire to reach. Hearing others say such things about Lysander made Elara feel a little pleased

Elara widened her eyes in anticipation.

Setting down her cup, she picked up her phone and zoomed in on the photo. What the heck? Isn't that Daphne? She's Lysander's girlfriend? Elara frowned. "Isn't Asher her son? Why doesn't she find him herself and ask you to help?"
Dad is just too kind-hearted, she wondered.
Barrett sighed. "She's in a tough spot. After all, Asher is her child with Mr. Blackwood. It wouldn't be right to bother her current husband.
"He has a bit of a temper, and if he found out, they'd definitely end up arguing. Asher's been alone in Starfield City and hasn't contacted anyone. He hasn't come to see you, has he?"
"No." Elara shook her head. After the last time she saw him make a fool of himself, he probably didn't want to see her. He was a proud person.
Barrett said. "I'll send someone to look for him later.
Elara replied, "Dad, can you please not get involved with Asher's matters?"
Barrett looked up at Elara without responding, only asking. "Didn't you say you were going out?"
Knowing her father wouldn't give up on finding Asher, Elara decided it was pointless to argue. She went back upstairs, changed her clothes, and headed to the hotel address Quarry had sent.
Quarry and Cynthia were already there, waiting for Elara at the entrance. Both looked quite stunning. Elara followed them into the banquet hall.
As soon as Elara stepped inside, she spotted Daphne. Surrounded by a crowd, Daphne radiated her usual aura, captivating everyone around her.
Elara couldn't help but admire Daphne's charm. No matter where Daphne went, she seemed to be the center of attention.
