A Surprising Twist of Fates (Sierra and Theo)

Chapter 120 Elder

"I'm not defending her. I'm just stating the facts," Theo replied.

"What facts? The fact that Sierra chose Benson just to marry into a rich family? And her breaking my mom's heart? Or the fact that now that Benson dumped her, she's crawling back to my mom? Why does she get to come and go as she pleases?"

Janice clenched her fists tightly, her lowered lashes casting dark shadows over her eyes. Her face was twisted with anger so deep it was almost suffocating.

"Theo, I've known her for over ten years. I know the kind of person she is. She'll use anyone to get what she wants."

His gaze turned cold as he listened to her. "Do you really know her? Or have you been looking at her through your own bias this entire time? You don't like her, so no matter what she does, she's always in the wrong."

"I......." Janice faltered, momentarily at a loss for words. Frustration flared in her voice as she snapped, "Theo, why won't you believe me?"

"Because I know she's not the person you make her out to be. Stop going after her."

Theo's voice was low, carrying a sharp chill.

Her lashes trembled as she bit down on her lip, silent but seething. Her eyes burned with frustration and unwillingness to accept his words.

Without another glance at her, he strode toward where Sierra was sitting.

"Sierra, let's add each other on WhatsApp." Pulling out his phone, Cayden suggested. "That way, we can stay in touch if you need anything."

"Oh, sure," Sierra nodded, picking up her phone. Just as she was about to add him, a slender hand reached out to take her phone.

As she looked up, her eyes widened slightly in surprise when she realized Theo had somehow appeared beside her.

"Sir, you can't just take someone else's phone!"

Cayden stood up, clearly irritated. He reached out to grab Sierra's phone, but Theo casually moved it out of reach. Cayden's hand swiped at nothing but air, causing a faint

fair

of frustration to appear on his sh

face.

Before the tension could escalate, Sierra quickly spoke up. "Cayden, this is my uncle."

Cayden froze for a moment, his face turning even redder. Feeling a bit awkward, he quickly stood up and apologized, "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were Sierra's elder. I didn't mean to be disrespectful."

He hadn't expected her relative to look that young, considering how Theo barely seemed older than him. Was it just genetics... or some kind of insane skincare routine?

Theo gave Cayden a cold, indifferent glance before shifting his gaze to Sierra. "Do you give out your contact info that easily?"

Sierra had no idea why Theo was there, but the way his deep eyes locked onto her made her feel strangely guilty for no reason.

She spoke softly, "Uncle Theo, this is my senior-Cayden. We've known each other for a while, and he's helped me a lot. He's a good person."

The moment Theo heard her words, his gaze darkened.

Sensing the shift in the atmosphere, Cayden quickly added, "I only added Sierra on WhatsApp for the purposes of school, nothing more. Please don't misunderstand."

"You're on campus to study-do you really need to continue studying in private?" Theo shot him a glance, his eyes cold and unreadable.

Cayden's expression stiffened, his gaze shifting away instinctively. Under Theo's sharp stare, it felt like every thought in his head was completely exposed.

"People with hidden agendas aren't worth keeping around."

Theo's tone was calm, almost dismissive. Without another word, he took Sierra's hand and walked her out of the cafeteria, leaving Cayden visibly uncomfortable.

From her seat in the back, Felicia had been watching everything unfold. Seeing Cayden looking so dejected, she clenched her fists tightly.

Sierra was such a manipulative flirt—always stringing men along wherever she went!
