A Song of Askaldenfirsts and Dragons. Book one: The outlanders (Part I-IV)

Chapter 13: Uldra

“I’m not a snotty boy!” And Julianip gave Uldra a powerful slap in the face that almost made her lose her balance.

Julianip instantly pounced on her and knocked her down. Uldra wore a furry dress with underdress pants, but Julianip ripped them with ease and then entered into the girl and she screamed.

“Shut up!” Julianip shouted, and with his hand pressed her head to the stony, cold ground.

They were on one of the rocks of the Larmar Islands. There were several frostorel trees, which look like earth pines, but at night their needle-like leaves become glowing. Tarrick sent Julianip and Uldra to collect the resinous liquid to lubricate their boat.

Julianip rape the girl with rage, pressing her head to the cold ground. Tears poured from Uldra, she could no longer resist, the strength left her completely. Finally, Julianip finished. He leaned over to her.

“It was I who pushed Friedrichta off the cliff!” he said. “The vile savage girl didn’t shut up, and I punished her!”

He stood up, and then grabbed Uldra by the arm, lifted her, and pulled her toward the cliff. She tried to break free, but she failed, and Julianip pushed her.

He didn’t come close to the cliff and, probably, walked away. Uldra hung on a ledge of rock, her strength fading, but she held on. She couldn’t pull herself up, but she saw more ledges below and held on to them with her feet. Holding on to small ledges, cracks and notches in the rocks, she gradually began to descend. The insulated fur dress hindered her, but the larmarian tried not to get entangled in it, and gradually she was able to reach a larger ledge on which the girl could stand, and she took off her dress. Her sweaty body felt the cold. She wore underdress pants and a light larmarian shirt. Uldra tried to rip through the fur dress, but nothing worked, and she decided to go down further, feeling for the ledges and stepping carefully. Larmarian descended the cliff lower and lower. Finally, there were ten feet to the water and Uldra knew that the water was deep here and she could jump, but in late autumn it was cold on the Larmar Islands, and now, when the waves crashing against the rocks with fury, the girl realized that she could freeze in the water. Suddenly, Uldra roared holding onto the ledges. But then, having gathered herself she decided to move along the cliff. And suddenly she fell off.

Having plopped into the water, she instantly surfaced and began to swim to the shore, which was almost nearby, her whole body suddenly became numb, and the girl could not move, but a wave lifted her and threw her onto the flat part of the shore. Uldra began to shake. She couldn’t clench and unclench her fingers, she couldn’t move at all. But she was on land, and now, a minute later, the girl was able to crawl.

Barely, but Uldra was able to get up and force herself to take off all her clothes. She tried to squeeze out the wet shirt, but her hands did not obey. And the naked girl went in the direction of the nearest dilapidated castle.

When she reached the castle, she found the surviving tapestry hanging on the wall and she tried to pull it down, but it did not give in, and then Uldra wrapped herself in it while standing, and in powerlessness sank so that the tapestry tore off and fell directly on her.

For some time Uldra lay under it. Then she heard someone shouting her name. She crawled out from under the tapestry, and crawled toward the castle exit and screamed with all her might, “I’m here!”

After a while, Tarrick burst into the castle, followed by Julianip with a frightened look, and behind him was the drunken tonnebeard’s king. Julianip had a dagger on his belt, he grabbed it, because he understood that Uldra would tell her story. Julianip ran to Tarrick, but resier quickly turned around and grabbed the guy by the throat with one hand, while the other held his hand with the dagger.

“What are you doing?” Tarrick was surprised.

“He did it,” Uldra whispered.

Tarrick unclenched Julianip’s hand and took his dagger, and then hit him hard in the face and Julianip fell and lost consciousness.

“What’s going on here?” Tulvarick entered, clinging to the edge of the partially destroyed castle door.

Tarrick ran up to Uldra and saw that she was naked, and since he was dressed lightly and could not take off something from himself to cover the poor girl, he decided to wrap her with a tapestry.

“Your Majesty, don’t leave her alone, I go upstairs!”

“What?” the king didn’t understand what was happening and didn’t even pay attention to the fact that some larmarian resier was ordering the king of the tonnebeards.

“Just stay here, Your Majesty, look after Uldra, and tie up Julianip.”

“Tie… hmm...” the king still didn’t understand and looked at the unconscious Julianip. Tarrick ran up the dilapidated staircase to the second floor of the castle.

Tulvarick sat down next to her, looked at her and asked, “Darling, what happened to you?”

“Watch out!” Uldra said as she saw Julianip running to Tulvarick.

Tulvarik stood up abruptly and grabbed the guy by the balls, squeezing them with his powerful hand. Julianip squealed.

“You did something to her, didn’t you?!” Tulvarick asked.

Tulvarick squeezed so hard that Julianip began to squeal even more. Tarrick ran out onto the stairs, saw that the king had the situation under control and again ran off to look for something. Finally, Tarrick appeared with a warm fur cape in his hands. The king had already let go of Julianip, who was lying on the floor, groaning, holding his hand in his crotch.

Tarrick put the fur cape on the table, and then came up and grabbed Julianip by the neck and lifted him, and wanted to look into his eyes, but the guy only whined with his eyes closed, he had already wet himself.

Tulvarick picked up the dagger and began to twirl it in his hand, then again reached for the mug with tenliash.

Tarrick picked up a fur cape from the table, walked over to the girl and began dressing Uldra. And then he also threw a tapestry over her shoulders. The girl remained on the floor and did not want to get up.

“Your Majesty, give her your mug.”

The king reluctantly parted with the mug, which still contained half a tenliash. Uldra swallowed and winced.

“Uldra, tell me what happened?” Tarrick asked.

“Julianip... raped me. He also confessed that he had pushed Friedrichta Hartreingost off a cliff, whom he also raped!”

“Wow! You did a lot of things, boy!” the king said contemptuously.

Julianip, overcoming the pain, wanted to get up and run, but Tarrick instantly reacted and rushed to him, kicked him in the belly and pushed him. Julianip fell and hit his face on the rocky surface, finally breaking his nose. He howled in pain.

Tarrick drew his sword, walked over to the rope that was sticking out of the tapestry, and, chopping it off from the tapestry, cut it in two and went to Julianip. Resier tied his hands with one part, and with the other part tied his legs.

“I didn’t mean to, I,” Julianip shouted. “Forgive me, I’ll not do this anymore! I… I couldn’t control my impulses! She called me a snotty boy… a snotty boy several times! I am a man and couldn’t stand it!”

“Man?!” Tulvarick roared, “You dare to call yourself a man?! You are not a man and you are not a boy, you are a brat! Vile bastard! Sumnargish take you!” And Tulvarick, setting down his mug, with a dagger in his hand, went to Julianip.

“Your Majesty, I remind you that he is a subject of Norvinoria,” said Tarrick to the king, then turned to Julianip, “I, resier Tarrick Dargast, in the name of the king Ganrikter Chrisskarson II and yarlantan of the Larmar Islands Timnar Tossed, for the rape of Uldra Farniss and the rape and murder of Friedrichta Hartreingost, I sentence you, Julianip Plemaschan, to the death by beheading. Do you have the last word?”

“What?! Tarrick, are you crazy?! We don’t know how many Plemaschans survived, if you’ll kill me, the ancient family will fade away! I demand an honest trial! Timnar is dead! Take me to Suljan!”

Tarrick found a semblance of a couch, and took it, dragging it to Julianip, and then with force lifted the bound Larmar and lowered it, forcing him to bend his knees and put the body on the couch so that his head protruded beyond the couch. Julianip began to resist, then Tarrick hit him on the head with the flat side of the sword and stepped on his spine, and then swung with all his might and cut off the lad’s head.

Uldra watched this intently, her eyes were glassy, empty, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Suddenly, Henriker burst into the castle.

“What’s going on here?” he asked and looked at the severed head and body of Julianip, the blood no longer pulsed from the neck, but flowed down in a trickle.

“Justice happens here,” Tulvarick said, and then got up and gave his hand to Uldra, “let’s go to our castle, at least a fire is burning there, and no disgusting heads are lying around!”

Uldra took his hand and stood up, and they walked towards the exit. Tarrick was wiping his sword in thoughtfulness.

“Henriker, you and I are going to collect the frostorels’ oil now, are we?”

“Yes, resier, we are,” Henriker agreed, not taking his eyes off Julianip’s head.

Tarrick went out, followed by Henriker, and they went to the frostorels. Uldra walked alongside the king, she turned and followed the resier and the mage with a glance.
