Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon)

Chapter 662

Forty-five minutes later, Ruby's car arrived at Grand Manor's parking space, followed by Jasper's car, parked next door.

They got out of the car and went straight to the gym.

As soon as Olivia entered the gym, she invited Liam, who had been defeated by her, to compete. She touched the boxing gloves on the shelf and invited, "Want to fight?"

Liam was in a bad mood and refused without hesitation. "No, I just want to have a good meal. Let's play darts."

The other party was not like a girl at all. Besides, they might hurt each other if they had a boxing match. If the corners of their mouths cracked, they would have a problem eating later. He only wanted to have a beautiful meal and return to school tomorrow. How could he face others with a swollen face?

Olivia urged, "Alright, then let's use darts. Let's go. Let's go. What are you waiting for?"

Olivia urged Liam and added, "No wonder Sophia nicknamed you Dawdler Blackwell."

At this moment, Liam did not want to talk. He glared at Olivia beside him and followed her to the darts and shooting venue.

As soon as she heard that there was a competition, Nona pulled Cyril's wrist and dragged him to the shooting range. "Cyril, let's go watch the competition. It will be fun."

Cyril didn't want to go, but Nona wanted, so there was nothing he could do about it. In his opinion, the competition between Olivia and Liam always ended up with Olivia winning easily. Just like what Jasper said, the beginning was the result.

After they left, only Ruby and Jasper were left at the entrance of the gym.

"What do you want to play?" He was standing behind her. He could smell her special shampoo when he lowered his head. It was pleasant and fragrant.

When he lowered his head again, his lips could touch her bun. She turned around and looked up at him, her eyes shining. "I want to play the piano." "Okay." Jasper nodded.

They walked to the piano room, and Ruby sat down. Jasper leaned lazily against the side of the piano and looked at her directly. "Why didn't you continue practicing the piano and dance in university?" She knew he would ask, so she smiled and put her hands on the keys. Instead of answering Jasper, she pressed a few keys with her fingers, and then a song that had accompanied them for countless years sounded in the piano room.

The song was beautiful. Ruby's fingers were very long and very suitable for playing the piano. Her fingers danced nimbly on the keys. She did not need to look at the score because the song had already imprinted itself in her mind.

The beautiful song floated in the piano room. Every note struck Jasper's heart. He wanted to smoke, but when he touched his pocket and realized he did not bring it, he stuffed his hand into his pocket and listened carefully.

She looked beautiful when she played the piano. She was very engrossed and intoxicated. What she wanted to express in the score was fully expressed by her. He could feel it.

After the song ended, Ruby stopped playing and pressed the keys. She smiled and looked up to answer Jasper's question. "What do you think is the reason?"

After a long while, Jasper did not reply. The two of them looked at each other quietly, their eyes filled with each other's reflections. Neither of them spoke. In the end, Ruby looked away and replied with a smile, "Maybe I'm doing this for my family. I have many brothers, including grandfather, father, uncle, and cousins."

He gazed at her without looking away.

Without waiting for Jasper to speak, Ruby continued, "My father and brother like to dress up. Every time they go out to pick clothes, it takes them a long time. My profession is quite good. I can design unique clothes for the people who love me and whom I love. What do you think?"

After a moment of silence, Jasper said simply, "Yes, it's pretty good. As long as you like it."

Ruby continued saying, "I quite like it and enjoy it. I feel a sense of accomplishment whenever they wear what I designed. This is a feeling I can't find on the piano and dance. Jasper, what do you think?" After saying that, she smiled slightly. She was as beautiful as the stars, and her entire body was emitting dazzling light. Jasper was suddenly dazzled.

However, her tone was like talking to a family, which was ear-piercing to Jasper. After that, they did not speak and just stared at each other.

"I told you Liam was going to lose." Cyril walked into the piano room as if he had expected it. He was about to share the battle situation. Seeing one standing and the other sitting, he said, "Liam lost again." Hearing this, Ruby came back to her senses. Then, she said with a rare sense of humor, "Mr. Trevon told me the normal ending."

As soon as Liam came in, he heard Ruby say that. He asked angrily, "Are you my biological sister?"

Nona was amused. "Aha, Mr. Trevon is so humorous."

Jasper retracted his gaze. The two people who came in were still pushing and fighting. It was obvious that the losing party was not satisfied. "You're so fucking spirited today," Liam complained. 'Is she still a woman? She wins whatever she plays,' Liam thought to himself.

Olivia twisted her body proudly like a water snake. Her posture was very funny and soft. She had a foundation in dancing, to begin with. "That's because you're too weak, not because I'm too strong. But thank you for praising me. I accept it, loser."

Liam was angered by her words, thinking, 'It was not appropriate for me to go out today. I should have stayed at home and played games.'

"Let's go eat." Jasper strode out. He was not in a good mood. No one could guess what he was thinking or what was going on.

Nona asked Ruby, "Ruby, why doesn't Jasper look very happy? Did you guys fight?"

"How is that possible? Jasper can't argue with Ruby. Jasper will only quarrel with Sophia." Olivia added.

Ruby walked out with Nona's arm around her wrist. She glanced at the man in front of her. He was striding toward the dining room. Her lips curled into a faint smile as she replied, "Maybe he's under pressure as an older brother."

"They did not quite understand. Nona automatically understood. ""Alright, I'll be more obedient in the future. Cyril, don't make Jasper angry. He's the biggest here. There's pressure. He was withstanding the pressure when he brought us out. If you don't do well in the exam, Daddy will scold Mr. Trevon."

Cyril, who didn't do anything but was blamed, was speechless. He thought, 'Other than being the second last in the exam, I had not done anything ridiculous recently.'

In the dining room, when everyone came in chatting and laughing, Jasper had already ordered the dishes that those people liked. He sat in his seat and wiped his hands with a wet towel.

Ruby sat down opposite Jasper, beside Liam. Nona and Cyril sat beside Jasper, and Olivia sat beside Nona.

Half an hour later, the waiter brought the dishes over. When the dishes were all placed, Ruby smiled at Jasper. At the same time, Jasper's lips curled up imperceptibly. Without batting an eyelid, she turned the turntable on the table, picked up her fork, and placed a dish on her plate.

Ruby picked up a piece of beef and placed it on an empty plate. A warm feeling flowed through her heart. "Olivia, are you going back to school tonight or tomorrow?"

Olivia was already eating. She replied with a mouthful of food in her mouth. It was a little hot. She fanned it with her hand. "I'll go tomorrow morning. I don't have class tomorrow morning. I can make it. Besides, it's so close."

Liam chimed in, "I'll go tomorrow morning too." Anyway, his grandpa would send him there. Nathan would take on the responsibility of picking Liam up every time. Liam could come back by himself, but Nathan, who missed his grandson, always asked for the time in advance and waited at the school gate early.

He was like a grandfather who picked up his grandson from elementary school.

"Liam, our schools are only about 3 miles apart. How could I not know?" Olivia looked at Liam as if she was looking at a fool.

Liam rolled his eyes at Olivia in dissatisfaction. "I'm talking to my sister. It's none of your business."

Jasper used the bottom of his fork to knock on the table twice, putting on the air of an older brother. "I can't even stuff your mouth with food."

In an instant, the two of them stopped arguing and ate quietly.

Ruby did not need to spin the plate. When she finished the food on her plate, the food she wanted would be transferred to her. She only needed to pick up the food.

After the meal, the few of them bade farewell at the door. Since Cyril and Nona were going to school tomorrow, Jasper planned to send the two children back to the Roberts' Villa first. It would take an hour to reach the Roberts' Villa from here, and there was a traffic jam.

Jasper said, "Report to me when you get home. I'll send Nona and the others home."

Liam waved his hand and replied, "Okay, bye."

Ruby said, "I'll go to the studio first. I brought the key out just now. Winnie doesn't have the key, so she can't lock the door. I forgot to make a copy. I'm leaving."

Jasper instructed, "Be careful."

"Yeah, sure," Ruby replied.

Half an hour later, after the car had driven for a while, a message from Frank was sent to Nona, saying, [Nona, are you done eating? How about I come and pick you up?] Nona sat in the back seat and replied, [Jasper is already sending us back.]

Frank replied, [I'm on my way. Where are you guys? Tell Jasper to stop the car at our intersection. I'll come over.]

After reading the message, Nona told Jasper, who was driving the car, that her father was there to pick her up. She gave him a location and asked Jasper to drive the car there.

At the intersection, Jasper's car met Frank's Porsche. Nona and Cyril got out of Jasper's car. After saying goodbye to others, they got into Frank's car.

Jasper rolled down the car window. "Frank, I'll send the car back to you tomorrow."

Frank smiled. "No need. Your father will send it back. Let's go."

Jasper nodded and did not say anything else.

More than an hour went by. At the traffic light, Jasper glanced at his phone and saw no one reported they were home. His fingers were tapping on the steering wheel rhythmically. No one knew what he was thinking.

"Jasper, what are you thinking about? The light is green." Olivia reminded Jasper to look at the indicator light.

Traffic was heavy. The car moved like a snail, heading in the direction of the Wilson's residence.

When the car was about to get to the Wilson's residence, Jasper suddenly turned the steering wheel and turned it around. Olivia sat beside him and did not understand what was going on. She felt puzzled. The steering wheel turned very quickly. With a drift, Olivia subconsciously grabbed the armrest of the car.

Sensing her brother's nervousness, her jawline tightened, and her brows furrowed tightly. Before she could ask the question in her heart, Jasper said in a low voice, "Call Ruby and ask where she is."

"Huh? Oh, I'll call now. Jasper, don't be nervous. They might have forgotten to tell you." Olivia took out her phone and felt Jasper was overthinking. At one point, she thought Liam and Ruby must have forgotten to tell them they were home.

Olivia called Liam first. The call went through, but no one picked up. She then made a second call and heard a beep.

Ruby's phone was the same. Olivia's palms were sweating from the call, and she also became nervous. This had never happened before. She comforted herself and Jasper at the same time. She said, "Jasper, don't be nervous. Nothing will happen. Maybe there's no battery. Besides, Ruby has always had bodyguards by her side. They're all quite skilled."

It was already dark, and the streetlights shone on the car. Olivia could see Jasper was nervous from the side of his face, and his grip on the steering wheel tightened.

Olivia was also very nervous. Jasper turned, changed lanes, and drove off from the road. The car's speed shot up, but it was all within his control.
