Purchased A Mr. Right

Chapter 1211

On the day of the Hsu family's party.

After Anthea took a shower and came out of the bathroom, she saw that Adam had taken out a long skirt which was light beige from the wardrobe. The bottom of the skirt's hemline was irregular, which could better outline the curvy features of Anthea. The style of this skirt was brisk and slightly formal, which was suitable for a party or banquet.

However, the hemline of the skirt was very long, which seemed to reach her ankles.

Adam made a decision for her. "You'll wear this tonight."

"I know!" Anthea knew his intention and nodded with amusement.

At five o'clock in the evening, she put on her long skirt. Her long hair was tied into a bun behind her head, revealing the perfect curvy features of her neck. Her palm-sized face was completely exposed. Although she didn't wear any makeup, her facial features were still very delicate.

After dressing up, Anthea put on a down coat and was ready to go.

Like her, Adam, who was sitting on the sofa, was also dressed formally. He was wearing a pure black dinner suit, and his trousers were straight. On the right chest, there was a dark green handkerchief tucked into the pocket. When he was not speaking, he looked like an ancient king.

He was naturally invited to the Hsu family's party tonight.

However, in order to avoid arousing suspicion, Anthea and Adam chose to go there separately.

Anthea told him she would go and hurried to the hallway, but she was stopped by him.

"Wait a minute."

She turned around in confusion. "What's wrong?"

Adam stretched out one of his long arms and said, "You forgot one thing."

Anthea was then dragged to the sofa by him and fell into his arms and chest. When she was about to ask why this was so, his thin lips fell down forcefully onto hers.

A series of breathless kisses followed...

The lipstick on Anthea's lips was almost all gone because of his kiss.

Looking at her delicate and charming lips having been kissed by him, Adam let go of Anthea with satisfaction.

Anthea's face was full of blush. She said shyly, "I'll go now. See you at the party later!"

"Yes." Adam nodded.

As a large family, the Hsu family often held parties.

Every year, a party would be held before the Lunar New Year. Most of the invited guests were relatives of the Hsu family, as well as some friends. When Anthea got out of the taxi, she could see from far away that the lights of the whole villa were on, and a great many guests were already there.

Anthea seldom participated in such activities.

She only took part in Master Hsu's birthday party every year. As her identity was relatively special in the Hsu family, she rarely appeared in the other parties or gathering-ups. It was also because she didn't like such activities. If it weren't for the Old Master's insistence, she would not have come at all.

Taking a deep breath, she entered the courtyard.

The party was held in a spacious side hall. Anthea saw that Master Hsu was surrounded by many guests. Beside him was his wife, Madam Jiles, who was mean and difficult to get along with. When Madame Jiles saw Anthea, her face became gloomy.

Her attitude toward Anthea was as bad as usual, but it seemed that she was particularly unkind today. When she saw that Anthea was coming towards them, she let go of the Old Master's hand and walked away. Before she left, she glared at Anthea with resentment.

Anthea's expression didn't change.

She had long gotten used to being indifferent to people and things of the Hsu family.

Anthea went forward and greet Master Hsu. "Grandpa!"

"Anthea, come over here!" Master Hsu seemed to have waited for her for a long time and happily waved his hand. "You little girl... I have waited for you for a long time. I thought you were going to show up! Let me see... Ah... You looked so pretty tonight. Even if you don't dress up so formally, you are still beautiful!"

Anthea blushed a little. "Grandpa, I'm flattered!"

"Haha!" Master Hsu laughed in a good mood and took her hand affectionately. "Anthea, I want you to stay with me!"

"Mm!" Anthea was obedient.

The grandfather and granddaughter talked for a while. Before long, the housekeeper approached to report that "Mr. Adam Chin is here."

Like the other day, Adam walked through the crowd with two long legs.

When his military boots fell onto the ground, a particularly steady sound could be heard. Anthea's eyes fell on them, and suddenly she recalled the first time she saw him at the birthday party of the old man. At that time, Adam also had the same powerful aura, attracting people's attention wherever he went.

The relationship between the two of them was just that of an uncle-in-law and niece-in-law back then...

Even thinking about it made Anthea feel shy!

She whispered, "Uncle Chin!"

"Uh-huh," Adam replied nonchalantly.

Their expressions remained normal, and nothing special between them had been exposed.

Jayden Hsu came over and said, "Adam, I've been waiting for you for a long time! I have a friend who recently wants to do business in military supplies. You're professional in this field. I want to ask you some questions!"

Between his son and son-in-law, Master Hsu was obviously more partial to the latter. "Jayden, Adam had been hard working in the army. It's rare for him to come back home on vacation. Don't bother him too much, okay?" "Don't worry, Dad. I know it!" Jayden replied directly.

After Adam was pulled aside by Jayden, Master Hsu patted Anthea's hand. "An old friend of mine is coming. Anthea, come over with me to greet him!"

"Okay, grandpa!" Anthea nodded.

More and more guests were coming to the party. The courtyard was fully parked with cars.

Anthea held Master Hsu's arm and accompanied the old man to greet his friends. At this time, there seemed to be another guest coming. The butler, who had been standing near the entrance, came to Master Hsu and whispered something to him.

Master Hsu looked surprised. "Why is he here?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he saw that the new guest was led by a servant to the side hall.

The new guest was a tall and straight man. He was extraordinarily handsome and dressed in a navy blue suit. The color of his suit suggested him a mature and sober-minded man, but in fact, there was an air of being casual and ruthless in his eyes. When he curled up the corners of his lips, there seemed to be a trace of evil charm in his expression.

After seeing the man's face clearly, Anthea was stunned. "Uh... Grandpa, did you invite Young Master Chiang?"

"No!" Master Hsu shook his head. "Our family doesn't have much contact with the Chiang family.

And... You know his relationship with your uncle-inlaw... It will be embarrassing if they meet. Most of the guests who come today are relatives of our family. The rest are my old friends. I didn't invite this Young Master Chiang. I don't know why he has come!"

Master Hsu didn't know why Emerson Chiang had come, neither did Anthea know it. In fact, the latter was even more confused.

While they were talking, Emerson had already approached them. As a young man, he was very respectful to the Old Master, just as he had at the birthday party previously held. "Master Hsu, I heard that a lot o friends and relatives would come to the party held in your house today! I have always respected you and want to become your friend. Maybe there will be business cooperation between our two families in the future. I take this chance to come here and join all of you at this wonderful party. Master Hsu, I wish that you'll accept me as a guest."

Everyone who came to the house was a guest, and therefore Master Hsu would not drive him away.

The Old Master smiled and said, "It's okay. Young Master Chiang, you can enjoy yourself freely here!"

Emerson nodded slightly.

The serving of food at the party was a western-style buffet. Master Hsu was afraid that his granddaughter might be hungry, so he asked her to eat something first.

Anthea picked up the plate and placed a piece of dessert on it. Suddenly, a large shadow loomed over her head.
