Chapter 109
Read My Past is Just Prologue By Louisa Dillon Chapter 109 – He Thought of Her
When Nathaniel returned to the villa, it was already late at night, but the lights in the villa were still on.
For a moment he was in a daze, as if Janet had left a lamp for him when he returned the night before, waiting for him to go home.
He opened the door, and the reality of no one smiling woke him up.
Where would Janet be? They were already divorced.
He was really drunk.
He smiled self-deprecatingly, walked into the villa, and walked slowly.
"Brother, you are back, I..."
Quintina had been waiting in the living room. She originally wanted Nathaniel to buy her something, but she didn't expect he was too late, and she already wanted to complain.
But as soon as she went up to meet him, she saw Nathaniel's gloomy face, looking in a bad mood.
Not only that, but she also smelled alcohol on him.
"What's the matter?" Nathaniel raised his eyes lightly.
Quintina was flustered by the man's gaze, and she swallowed the words abruptly. "It's okay, I... I'll go upstairs to sleep first, and you should go to bed early too."
After speaking, Quintina went upstairs, but instead of going back to her room, she went to find Winifred.
As soon as she entered, she quickly closed the door, feeling a little scared.
"Mom, my brother is back, but I feel that he is in a bad mood, and I don't know who provoked him. I didn't dare to say that I wanted him to buy me that limited-edition handbag!" Hearing this, Winifred frowned and sneered, "Who else would dare to be angry with your brother, except for Janet and Anastasia, these two women have hurt Nathaniel hard!"
"That's right! These two women don't have any merits. One is unappreciative, and the other is dirty! They are so cheap!"
Quintina was still fussing about the limited edition handbag, so naturally he had nothing good to say.
Winifred understood her thoughts, glared at her and said, "Don't think about your handbag now. As long as your brother can get out of the shadow of those two women, it doesn't matter how many handbags you want."
"It's easy for you to say. I think my brother has been hurt by these two women in his whole life, and I don't know what's good, is it? I don't
understand...”
"Hmph, your brother just can't get out for the time being. It is said that the best way to forget a relationship is to start a new relationship. When I find a better woman for Nathaniel, he will not worry about it." Winifred had a plan in her mind, and her slightly narrowed eyes revealed a bit of shrewd calculation.
In short, Janet and Anastasia were determined never to be her daughter-in-law. Especially Anastasia, that kind of unruly woman who
wanted to marry into the Webster family, had no way!
She had to find a good woman in the upper circle for her son!
On the other hand, Janet came home with a somewhat tired face, and her mood was not very beautiful.
The day went by inexplicably. First, Nathaniel found fault with her for no reason, and then he kissed her, which made Janet very annoyed. They were already divorced. Was this man used to being domineering, or did he think he could handle her easily and let her do whatever he
wanted?
Thinking of biting him for a little bit of revenge just now, Janet's annoyance eased a little, as if she had been bitten by a dog!
She just felt a little sorry for Orville.
Originally, she agreed to celebrate his birthday with him, but because of Nathaniel's troubles, she couldn't make the trip.
Hearing the sound of the door opening, Beacher put down the remote control and came up to her, raised his eyebrows, and asked her with
a gossipy face. "Little sister, where have you been?"
Janet pushed away Beacher's handsome face, "I refuse to tell you."
Beacher snorted triumphantly and said with a smile, "I don't need to tell you, I know. Have you gone out with that man?"
Hearing this, Janet raised her eyes slightly.
Beacher chuckled, "It seems that I guessed it right, how is it? Have you made any progress with that man? It's called... Orville, right?" Janet pursed her lips, noncommittal, and went to the second floor.
"Little sister, tell me, don't go!"
Beacher continued to follow behind her unwillingly, with an appearance of "I just care about my little sister's emotional life", and followed her all the way to the door of Janet's room.
Janet entered the room, turned her head and smiled at Beacher.
*Beacher, stop gossiping."
After finishing speaking, she quickly closed the door and almost bumped into Beacher's nose, but luckily he dodged quickly.
