Chapter 151: Minor ORIGIN SIGIL - XII
While everyone in the wind barrier was observing the bunch of cheerful Rock Magmoids, Akor approached Jay with burning eyes.
He then kneeled in front of Jay before speaking his heart, "My Liege, Please let me have this opportunity. I won't disappoint you."
Jay understood his intentions, but to be sure if Akor knew what he was getting into, Jay asked, "Are you sure? If you accept this, then there will be no going back. Your life and death would be at my mercy."
Akor replied while kneeling, "I have already dedicated my life to following you, and if doing this would allow you to trust me completely, then I shall gladly oblige."
Jay went through Akor's thoughts and was satisfied to find the Genuity behind his words.contemporary romance
So, without saying any more, Jay pointed out his forefinger and shot a silver streak at Akor's forehead.
Then the roman letters 'XII', which indicated the number 12, had emerged on his glabella. Along with those letters, the white in Akor's eyes also emitted a silver glow for a couple of seconds before fading away.
{Author Note: Only now did I realise that the practical use of Periodic Table elements for naming the Minor ORIGIN SIGILS makes it more complicated than it needed to be. So, I have changed the representation of Minor Origin Sigils from 'Periodic Table Elements' to 'Roman Numbers' and did the same in 'Chapter-61' as well.}
Those roman letters represented his position as the 12th Minor ORIGIN SIGIL holder.
Meanwhile, Jay sensed Akor's Grade-7 Innate Talent upgrade into a Grade-9 one by the Minor ORIGIN SIGIL-XII.
Once that was over, <LOOT> shot out a pillar of Origin Energy and pulled in a million kilometer wide blue sphere into his Spirit Space. (1 Million Kms = 620,000 miles)
As soon as it entered, several chains of Origin Energy encased it and made the gigantic blue sphere revolve around <LOOT> on the 9th outer circular orbit.
Following that, a series of notifications popped in Jay's vision.
[500 Undistributed Looted stats were expended to engrave a Minor ORIGIN SIGIL.]
[248 Undistributed Looted stats were automatically assigned to the 'XII' ORIGIN SIGIL holder.]
[You have gained absolute control over Grade-9 <Water Innate Talent>.]
Other than the basic cost of engraving an ORIGIN SIGIL, the Undistributed Looted Stats equaling 25% of Jay's overall stats were also expended.
But with several thousand Undistributed Looted Stats sitting around to be used by Jay, those didn't amount to much.
Soon after he gained absolute control over Akor's Innate Talent, another notification appeared, making Jay pause for a second.
[Do you wish to synchronise with Lv.33 <Major Water Mastery> and obtain Volatile Aqua Element?]
Jay didn't choose to postpone synchronising with it until the end of Round-2 like how he planned to do with Olivia's new mastery improvement.
Instead, he right away initiated synchronisation to test out something. If that goes as he hoped, Jay would practically become unstoppable, and just his Evaluation Score alone could set an all-time record that no new trial zone could ever dream of reaching.
At that point, Jay would become so strong that even the Tournament Manager, Felarial, would be helpless in front of him.
But all that will be just a fleeting thought if it didn't happen the way he hoped.
Upon accepting to synchronise, pieces of Akor's memories that contained his overall comprehension of the <Major Water Mastery> and the experience of using the Volatile Aqua Element flowed into my mind like an unending stream.
[By forced absorption of Stage-4 Mastery memory fragments, your mind will go into a long-term Spirit paralysis state.]
[Due to your Unique Innate Talent's protection, you are invulnerable from the damage caused by forced absorption of Masteries.]
As usual, <LOOT> prevented him from receiving any direct damage but the mental pain inflicted in the process was by no means filtered.
To the others, it looked like Jay stood still with his eyes closed, but that was him trying hard to swallow down the tide of pain that engulfed his mind.
[Lv.47<Mental Pain Resistance> ➝ Lv.54<Mental Pain Resistance>]
[Lv.54<Mental Pain Resistance>: Resistance towards Mental Pain increases by 54%.]
Only when the pain came to an end did Jay open his eyes. He ignored the improvement in <Mental Pain Resistance> and opened his <STATUS> in a hurry and checked the 'Elemental Mastery Section'.
STAGE-1 Mastery = Lv.1 to Lv.10.
STAGE-2 Mastery = Lv.11 to Lv.20.
STAGE-3 Mastery = Lv.21 to Lv.30.
STAGE-4 Mastery = Lv.31 to Lv.40.
...
[ELEMENTAL MASTERY]
<Minor Fire Mastery>: Lv.30 {Max} (No changes)
<Minor Wind Mastery>: Lv.30 {Max} (No changes)
<Minor Earth Mastery>: Lv.30 {Max} (No changes)
<Minor Darkness Mastery>: Lv.30 {Max} (No changes)
<Minor Lightning Mastery>: Lv.30 {Max} (New)
<Minor Wood Mastery>: Lv.10 ➝ Lv.26 (New)
Lv.30 <Minor Water Mastery> ➝ Lv.33 <Major Water Mastery> (New)
{Author Note: Here, 'New' shows something that wasn't shown in the Mastery Section that appeared in s.}
Once Jay made sure his Water Mastery reached Stage-4, he flipped to his <LOOTED STATUS> and tried adding Undistributed Looted Stats to the attributes.
But to his disappointment, the overall Looted Stats didn't exceed 1000, indicating to Jay that he didn't break past the 1st Universe Limit even after getting hands over a Major Mastery.
It made Jay realise that the Mastery Requirements for crossing the 1st Universe Limit were the same as those he had to follow for evolving to higher tiers.
Either he had to bring every mastery in his possession to Stage-4 or raise his comprehension over Origin Mastery to 4%.
Since the first way was not feasible any time soon with the number of Innate Talents he possessed, Jay could only aim for improving his compression over the Origin Energy.
To him, breaking past the 1st Universe Limit was of great significance since that could bring a tremendous increase in power.
After all, that would allow Jay's overall stats in <LOOTED STATUS> to go triple that of his overall stats in <STATUS>, meaning that when he enters <INVERSE> mode, his overall stats could reach up to 3000.
The sheer amount of stats alone would make him stand on par with a Tier-5 Low-Phase life form.
Although Jay could only use such strength during the limited duration of <INVERSE> mode, that would be more than enough to sweep away any problem in the early stages of the Trial Program.
But all that became wishful thinking, and Jay could only sigh at raising his hopes.
He wiped away all those thoughts to the back of his mind upon noticing the three-minute preparation time came to an end, and the grey-cuboid Reality Emulators opened up.
The hundreds of Alpha Chosen began to enter the Reality Emulators allotted for their respective trial zone teams.
The Earth's Alpha Chosen separated with the Atlans and the Rock Magmoids, and each team went their way.
But before separating, Jay advised Halbor and the rest of the Rock Magmoids to not add all the Undistributed Stats at once and instead add them progressively as they face the first few monster hordes.
That way, they could gain quicker control over the sudden increase in overall stats.
Jay didn't give the same advice to Akor since the 248 Undistributed Looted Stats he received will be automatically distributed based on the adaptability of his overall stats.
Instead, Jay mentally communicated with Akor and told him not to reveal anything about his Innate Talent's improved grade.
In the future, his ability to make others stronger will eventually come out once he begins expanding his influence, so instead of hiding it till then, Jay took the initiative to showcase ORIGIN SIGILS.
But, to others, Jay made it look like the ORIGIN SIGILS would make others stronger by increasing their stats.
As for the information about the ability to upgrade Innate Talents, Jay decided to keep it under a tight lid. No one else would know about it other than the ORIGIN SIGIL holders.
Akor nodded gratefully at Jay and vowed not to leak any information about it.
While leaving to his allotted Reality Emulator, he gave Halbor, and the rest of the Rock Magmoids looks of pity and thought to himself, 'Those ingrates didn't know what's better for them. To think they rejected such an opportunity. If they learn what they had missed, there wouldn't be any tears left to cry for them.'
