Chapter Chapter Sixteen
One Year Later
A whole year being in prison felt like eternity. Time wasted behind these walls and bars. A whole year of doing nothing. The five of us were confined to this one area. We spent majority of our days in our cells, and only hour out of our cells. We weren't allowed to do much. Didn't have much entertainment. It was like living in actual Hell.
The sound of a buzzer went off and I glanced over to the door hearing it unlock. One of the guards walked over and opened the door.
"Let's go." He demanded. I laid there for a few more seconds before slowly getting up from the bed and stepping out of the tiny room. I glanced at the other doors, Noah, Kyle, Ben and Krista all stepping out of their own cells. The guard soon walked away and I slowly made my way to the table.
"This bites." Kyle mumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest. We all nodded in agreement.
"No one sent word..." Noah whispered, making sure the guards didn't hear him.
"It's been almost a year...I mean I get why they didn't send word. Couldn't risk getting caught." Ben spoke this time. I sat there listening to everyone speak, but I didn't say anything, just consumed in my thoughts, thinking about everyone in the outside world, the group, our grandparents. Every single night, I prayed and hoped they didn't get caught, or worse, killed.
"Sam?"
I glanced up to see the others staring at me. A long sigh escaped my lips as I shook my head. "We need to find a way to send word to the others and get the hell out of here and kill that motherfucker once and for all."
"Sam...he knew we were coming. He had reinforcements..." Noah said. I glanced at him with a raised eyebrow.
"I know..I know.." I sighed heavily rubbing my face with my hands. The room got quiet as we all sat there in silence, thinking. Suddenly an explosion echoed in the distance, making the tables around us shake slightly. We all exchanged confused looks and I turned my gaze over to the door. The guards stood in front of the door, guns up and ready. Silence filled the room once again.
A second later the door burst open, guns went off and the five of us quickly ducked under the table avoiding any crossfire.
I slowly peeked my head out once the shots were done. My eyes widened at the sight in front of me.
"Grandpa??"

Everyone was gathered in the truck as it drove down the road. Grandpa William and Oliver were the ones who came barging in, guns blazing. To be honest I was pretty impressed and shocked at the same time. I didn't think they had it in them.
"I'm glad you kids are alright." William spoke as he gave us a smile.
"This was your plan?" Kyle asked and he let out a soft chuckle.
"After we heard you kids got caught, Joe and the others came to us immediately and told us what happened. I'm sorry it took so long, we had to keep hidden and quiet. But we planned this, to the tea." Oliver explained.
"So what now?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest raising an eyebrow.
"We go back to our home base. It's our safest option right now. We came to rescue you guys, Joe and the others are creating a distraction so their eyes aren't on us." William said looking at each of us. My eyes flickered over to the others before turning my attention back to my grandfathers.

Prison was literal hell. The food sucked. The showers sucked. It felt like we were living in the slums. The worst part, we weren't allowed to make any physical contact with each other. For a year, I've been away from Noah's touch, his kisses, everything.
Finally making it back to our grandparents home base, I was met with my grandmothers embrace.
"Oh thank god you kids are okay." Charlotte cried as she hugged me tightly. Olivia embracing Kyle. We soon pulled away and looked between the two of them.
"Thanks for getting us out of there." Kyle said with a smile.
"Come on, let's get you all some real food and you can get yourselves cleaned up." Charlotte said as we all headed towards the bunker.
Finally settling into our rooms, I decided to head for the showers first before I ate anything. Closing the door behind me, I made my way over to one of the showers and turned the water on. I let it run for a bit, making sure it wasn't too hot or too cold. I heard the door open and shut. Glancing over my shoulder I saw Noah standing at the door.
"Hey.." His voice echoed in the room as he slowly walked over.
"Uh, hey. I'm gonna shower.."
"I know." Was all he said as he stood in front of me. I raised an eyebrow slightly gazing up at him. The only sound that could be heard was the running water and my heavy breathing.
"Mind if I join?" He asked. Without waiting for a response he pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it on the floor. My eyes flickered to his now exposed chest and I stepped closer, placing a hand on his chest. I glanced up and our eyes met, making my heart do backflips. Our faces were inches part and I could feel his hot breath on my lips.
"You have no idea how much I missed this. A whole year not being able to touch you, kiss you..." his voice was low, almost like a whisper.
"I know.." I mumbled softly as my hands moved up to his neck, entangling my fingers in his hair as I pulled him in for a kiss. He immediately kissed back with as much as fiery passion as he could muster up. His hands slipped down to the hem of my shirt giving it a few tugs. Pulling away from the kiss, he slipped the shirt off my head and our lips collided once more.
Our bare chests now exposed and against one another. Noah's hands slipped down to my waist and suddenly lifted me up, my legs wrapping around his waist as he lead me into the shower, neither of one of us breaking the kiss. Water dripped down from the the shower head when Noah pressed my back up against the wall.
Finally pulling away from the kiss, he rested his forehead against mine. Our breathing heavy from the steamy make out session.
"Sam.." He breathed out. I lifted my head slightly and met his eyes. "I don't ever want to be a part from you again."
"We won't." I whispered softly placing a hand on his cheek and leaned in kissing him once again.
